★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are not very neat, the host's service is terrible, it is overpriced in comparison to what you get, and to finsh off you need to pay extra to use the places kayaks, breakfast is poorly served. The view is nice anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stay. Host is funny and helpful. You can rent kayaks but they are pretty expensive in comparison to other places (75MX$ per kayak per hour). A guided tour makes more sense. Casa Caracol is directly at the lagoon so you can swim etc. The rooms are not climated so it's pretty warm at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is amazing. The place is beautiful. We arrived at the sunset and were exhausted. We leaved the luggage in the rustic but charming room with a nice sight on the lagoon. We decided to visit the lake shore and discovered a little wooden platform with an hamac. We slept 2 hours there : Magical moment. The welcoming is warm... One of my best memory of the whole Mexico.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too bad if you never got to stay here. Very natural and casual. No frills. Clean rooms, great food, and awesome staff when Gabby was there. Very secure with locked gate. This place is for enjoying the beauty of nature. So glad we took the path less traveled and stayed here.
