Hotel Casa Chips - 48987 Barra de Navidad

Me gustó mucho el concepto del hotel, es como si llegaras a casa de un familiar y te diera hospedaje, sólo que con un costo. La decoración de la habitación y la vista desde la terraza en la azotea fue lo mejor. El precio es muy accesible comparado con otras opciones de la zona sólo porque no tiene alberca, igual no se necesita con la laguna y el mar a sólo unos pasos.

Un hotel que cumple ampliamente las necesidades de los huéspedes, nos encantó todo, desde su habitación, su visita al mar tan increíble, todo muy limpio y bonito. Recomiendo ampliamente al hotel casa chips.

Casa Chips has an opportunity to give an incredible experience for its's patrons, but falls flat on it's back 1) No customer service - at all. 2) Never cleaned rooms once in 3 days 3) Had to ask for toilet paper when the one roll given ran out 3) No new clean towels, only had two 4) When booked in was promised the " premium suite with kitchen, and when arrived, she confirmed this, Then she tried to get an additional $50.00 USD / night to stay there. When the owner was contacted, he even asked for this. But finally agreed that was promised 5) A really good latte' / coffee machine in lobby. Never could get an answer as to if we could use it, was it working or anything 6) Garbage and wet shoes drying in upper balcony 7) outside patio chairs in suite was filthy, and lounge chair broken . I highly recommend the area. Would never stay at Casa Chips unless saw in complete change in staff and house keeping . Come on Charles - OWNER, either clean up your facility, care about it , or sell it to someone who will. It is worth it. Gary

three nights in beautiful Barra. Casa Chips is an amazing location downtown and on the beach. However it was very disappointing. Despite many emails to the owner they had the date wrong. Staff was very unfriendly and un helpful. Also insisted on USD to upgrade out of jail cell sized rooms 1 and 2 then only gave us 10% exchange. Rooms were not well cleaned, dishes were dirty and the common areas were not clean at all. Stayed at two other places in mexico this trip that were great. We do not recommend Casa Chips at all.
