Great hospitality and wonderful staff. The beds were incredibly comfortable. I wish Vegas has beds like these. The breakfast is made fresh every morning and amazing. Looked at other options in Zitacuaro but none compare to the luxury and first class experience feel. I Will be coming back very soon

Excellent boutique hotel where you really wouldn't expect it - when google maps led us to it, we were half expecting the location to be wrong, but it wasn't. It's just a little hidden gem, about an hour away from the monarch butterfly sanctuary (which was the main reason for our visit). King room is really spacious, and the spa service they offer was great, too. (My wife had a massage with Mrs Sylvia, and was really impressed). Free parking is available in a guarded lot down the street.

The facilities are very nice but there is no staff at the hotel after 8 PM and they lock the entrance so you can’t leave (the key for your room does not work for the entrance). There is no restaurant in the hotel either. Because of this we were not able to have any dinner and spent the night hungry. Also, we chose this hotel so that we could go see the butterfly sanctuaries but the staff at the hotel didn’t have much information about how to go there. For example, there is a bus to Angangueo (the closest village to the sanctuaries) from Zitacuaro but they didn’t know anything about it and told us to take a bus to Ocampo, then another bus to Angangueo. They did not know the time or location of the 2nd bus. In the end it took us 3 hours to get from the hotel to the sanctuary using a combination of buses and taxis. You can get a bus directly from Mexico City to Angangueo that takes less time and money!

This was a wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the charm and comfort. Like a good dating website, this hotel matches the pictures online.

This hotel is one of the most surprising little inns in all of Mexico. It is beautiful, comfortable, offers a delicious breakfast and the pool is heated and delightful. We stayed here two night while visiting the monarch sanctuary and it was the perfect spot. Staff were kind and helpful.
