They offer a separate camping area. But that was definitely one of the worst camping sports I've ever been. The bar was not even 10 m from my tent and people were partying until 7 in the morning. Drunken people were walking between the tents. Couldn't find sleep at all. Bathroom was quite ok. Toilet very clean and showers as well. WiFi is very bad!

We just stayed a whole month at Casa Maya and had a great time! It’s a cozy hotel with only 7 rooms, located just in front of the (more or less) private beach with sunbeds and parasols. Just a few footsteps away from the town.The rooms are basic, but very clean and even spacious. Good value for money! The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. We had two minor issues in the bathroom which have been settled immediately. On our last day, the lady from the reception told me that she has got a few questions. 1st: What is your favourite drink on the island? I answered her “beer and tequila”. 2nd: What is your favourite food on the island? I answered her “shrimps, in any style”. 3rd: What is your favourite dessert on the island? I answered her “Nothing, we don’t like sweets”. Later, when we returned from lunch, we found a small table at our spot on the beach. With flowers and our favourite Tequila. Just two minutes later, on of the reception guys brought us two ice cold beers. And some 15 minutes later, he came again. With a big plate of delicious shrimp ceviche! We couldn’t believe it, but it was true. We will definitely return to Casa Maya next year, to spend another month at one of the greatest places we have ever met! In the end, once again, a big THANK YOU to the staff!

It is was it is. A great pet friendly little hotel on the beach. Nothing fancy or modern, but The rooms are clean, air conditioned, staff was helpful and great shaded chairs on the beach. Great price and great time. I would book again.

Casa Maya is on the beach and downtown which are 2 great advantages. Their beach club is unfortunately quite small with too few lounge chairs. Great staff.

In fact the worst place you could go! Near by the beach but thats it…

DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURES! You are probably looking on Maps for a nice beach front hotel on this wonderful island, and just like me you were amazed by one. This hotel lies on its description: there is neither a sea view or even garden view. The bedroom actually consists in one bed surrounded with four white walls, lamp bulbs without lampshades, and one window offering a view on the street. There is no direct access to the beach, since there is a bar in front. Upon arrival, we raised the matter to the welcome desk. Answer from the expressionless person was : "If you're not happy you can cancel your reservation". You also need to know that the neighbour hotel/bar is playing loud music. I changed hotel after 5min trying to bargain.

Don’t trust the pictures. The bungalow is under standard, holes on the wall , many bugs … The service is good The beach is close, the lounge chairs not installed before at least 8.45 NO WIFI breakfast not ready before 9.00 Night club close by . Music until 3 am ??

Thank Good my stay is over. Casa Maya worst hotel on this world. Loud music 4 days straight, from the club close to this place, can't sleep at night. The rooms are very ugly and uncomfortable. No beach front and horrible service at the bar barbarrosa, Colombian waiter very rude and racist, you have to be young and speak inglish to be treated good, if you are not, forgot it. Over all this " hotel" is a joke. Don't trust the advertise. All is a lie.
