Very cosy and traditional place. With a gorgeous garden and very good local cuisine. The rooms are quite small and noisy though.

The hotel is cozy, comfortable and very near the city center. The staff is kind and helpful. The swimming pool is a bit small but it is just great for kids!

I had two rooms. One had pink-soap smears in the bathroom, the other had its bulbs flickering. The ornaments look good, but aren't cared for. And the awful part is that the AC remote would turn on the TV...picture this at 2 am in the morning, adjusting the temp and waking up the wife. Way too many misleading good reviews. Beware

Last week my husband called them to reserve our favorite room at this hotel. We were told then that, although there was currently no reservation pending for our dates, there was a reservation the two days prior and for that reason they wouldn't reserve the room for us for 3 nights (Sat, Sun, and Mon nights) because what if the current guests want to extend their stay? Yesterday my husband called and asked about if the guests were going to extend their stay and was told no, they weren't. We were assured the room would be available for us for our desired nights and we left our credit card number to reserve the room. Upon arrival tonight, we were informed that our reserved room was occupied already and that they tried to call us (which they had but due to crossing borders, our phone service did not work so the phone never rang). Because they couldn't get ahold of us, they gave the room to someone else, despite having our credit card number. They offered to give us a 2-double-bed room (we reserved a king bed room and they only had double beds left) and then we could have the room we reserved for tomorrow and Mon night. Needless to say, we declined and went elsewhere, so they lost our business not only for these three nights but probably forever. The customer service which is usually exceptional, was anything but this time. What was the purpose of taking our credit card number to reserve the room if they were just going to give it away? It really made us feel as though they viewed us as a nobody - and it's never good to make people who are choosing to spend their money at your place of business feel like a nobody. Be forewarned : regardless of whether you have a reservation with them, you just might get there and find you really don't.

An oasis in the city. The motif and decor are unmatched. Very unique and cozy. The rooms are very comfortable. Soft beds and powerful AC unit. A bar in the lobby allows for a beer or two before outings. The pool is perfect for taking a dip to cool off, renew yourself and give you relief from the heat. The shower in our room was luxurious in size. I highly recommend their special regional coffee in the morning. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They made many good recommendations and were willing to call us taxis for getting around. Would absolutely return.
