L	Lina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were welcomed with a free upgrade to one of their best suites, which was the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed at ? everything is impeccably clean and decorated beautifully. For breakfast we got hands down the best vegan tacos! ? Unfortunately the bar next door plays very loud music all day until 10pm ?

The beach is the best in the island and the hotel is nice BUT be aware that you won’t be able to enjoy the sound of nature... - STAFF: Unfriendly staff, don’t expect a smile from them, neither from the manager nor from the chief of reception who is the most unfriendly I have seen in all Mexico - NOISE 1: children screaming in the pool with Montessori parents not telling them to play without screaming like they were alone on earth - NOISE 2: The hotel nearby is playing crazy loud music like a cheap Ibiza club, from 9 am to 11pm, we had to go tell them to turn it down at night. We could not enjoy the sunset on our terrasse because of that noise - BREAKFAST: simply not good at all, not tasty

The room was beautiful and comfortable, the beach side accommodations ideal, the food (perfect every meal - home cooking), the drinks (amazing) and the staff - frankly, the staff made all of the difference. Responsive, warm, helpful...even upon exit, having a COVID tester come to my room it was just a vacation with ease and simplicity built into everything. No detail was too small to be missed - I needed this getaway to recharge after a full-tilt year of work, and I found this hotel by chance. As much as I like to visit new places, I cannot wait to go back - I could not recommend them more highly.

The staff and personnel are so open and kind warm hearted people was such a joy getting to know them all. Our room was impeccable and the attention to detail amazing. We spent our evenings in the restaurant at the hotel as we met amazing people from all around the world all different walks of life and all there for the same intention to enjoy and we sincerely did. Every drop of it. The island is so beautiful and we just can't wait to go back. Thank you Palapas del Sol we miss you already

You will not go wrong staying here. Small but very very luxurious. Nothing corporate about this place. Owner is hands on and makes sure everything is top notch. Her staff is spot on and anticipate all of your needs even before you do. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!!

The staff is wonderful & this is one of the few hotels that clean the seaweed off the beach regularly so the section in front of the hotel is even more beautiful!! We ate every meal here because it was so delicious & can’t wait to come back!

Here's what I'd have liked to know, especially for this price point: --There can be quite a bit of noise/loud music very late from places a few properties down the beach. -- In high season, you have to stake out chairs in the morning early if you want to have a spot (& then you feel really bad leaving guests without a place to sit on the beach) It's kind of a bummer at this price point that there isn't enough beach for the hotel guests at all. ---The pool is small, shaded, right in the walkway and cold--not the place for hanging out (if you miss the beach spots). If you want a great pool this isn't your spot. ---Breakfast is delicious. Staff is nice and hotel is well kept.
A	Annina Manser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we had an incredible stay, that we‘ll cherish forever! staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean. the food was good but nothing special. the hotel goes above and beyond to cater for any special dietary requests. the vegan pancakes and the vegan club-sandwich were absolutely bomb. definitely adding this little slice of paradise to my favorite hotels ever list and dreaming about the day we go back.
