This place is so good. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a while.

Food is good...a 3.5 Service and Location is 4.5 The room overall is a 3 The fitness room is a too basic....a bike a treadmill and a bocce ball. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This hotel is literally in the middle of everything. The historic value awesome. I doubt I would stay here again even though the prices were fantastic. I would venture out for a little more luxury and willing to pay more. No regrets I enjoyed the overall experience.

This hotel is in a great location! Right on the main strip across from the cathedral. I would give it five stars, however there is no air conditioning, and the free breakfast is limited to some fruit and yogurt. Similar hotels nearby include a bigger breakfast. Overall it was a great stay and I would visit here again.

Great value for the price so I'm rating pretty high. Pretty clean but no AC. Stayed in room 214. One double bed with 30" tv. There's no central air in this building so no ventilation in the bathroom. Our bathroom had two openings (approx 3" x 5") right under the cracked window (in the shower stall) to the outside at chest level making it very awkward to take a shower without the paranoia of someone watching. The view from all windows was a light color painted brick wall or the windows of other guests . The door stopper was right in the middle of the room which doesn't allow for more than one person to maneuver in there. If you are staying by yourself and need a place to sleep, this room is more than enough. I did not use any of the other amenities in the hotel except for the elevator which holds no more than 4-5 people. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was included in my stay but I didn't get to eat there.

Ugly beds, they make a lot of noise at 7:00am setting up the restaurant.

The hotel is amazing not only is the staff super friendly and helpful, but they are also super accommodating. I arrived around 5 am on a Tuesday morning and there was someone there to check me in and help me with my luggage all the way to my room. The area is super safe since its right in the Heart of Morelia, and all the cool city center spots are within walking distance! I booked the room last minute due to an unforeseen family emergency and the price I paid for 4 nights did not cost an arm and a leg. The room was cleaned daily, and the towels changed too. What I loved most was that there was no stuffy carpet smell in the room since the rooms have hardwood floors. The water pressure was amazing too! no complaints there. Whenever someone asks me for recommendations of where to stay in Morelia, I always recommend Hotel Casino. The only real downside to the hotel would be the faucet water. The first few days were fine, but then one night went I went to turn on the hot water to get warm water to wash my face, the water that came out of the faucet was an orange color and it smelled heavily of iron. This was only one day however, so I'm not so sure if it will keep happening. but the next morning after I washed my hands, I ran my hands through the cold water and then through my hair to fix a few fly aways and my hair smelled like the iron from the night before. The smell was really nauseating, but I managed to keep it away but putting my hair back away from my face, it was a little inconvenient.

Old colonial building. Had a room at the front overlooking the pretty square. The room is small and the loud music and traffic in the square at night is a bit overwhelming, but there are wooden shutters which reduce the noise. The included breakfast is poor, a bowl of hard fruit, coffee, juice and one pan dulce per person. The building is attractive, and obviously it's central position is great for exploring the beautiful old town, but I didn't find the staff very welcoming or friendly and I wouldn't choose to stay there again

Cozy hotel perfectly located in the heart of Morelia. Lovely staff for an enjoyable stay in clean and spacious rooms with all utilities, but no mini bar available.
