Francisco showed what true hospitality is, his attention to guests and willingness to help is impecable.
The location is perfect!!! In the middle of the center.

- nice and cordial staff, they helped us to find some tour (even gave us a contact for a driver to bring us to Hierve el agua);
- good location: a few meters away from the Zocalo, close also to the Mercado 20 Noviembre to have something to eat, close to the Jardin Etnobotanico
- the breakfast: it is not included in the price of the room but it cost between 100 and 150 pesos to have a nice breakfast and all that on the patio of the hotel (but it was a bit cold at 7-8am in January haha)
Negative aspect·
- internet was bad in the room. It was better in the patio (downstair)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a horrible experience with this hotel . We booked a room more than a month before our arrival. They got cancelled us only 2 days before our arrival in Oaxaca and offered us a room in a less favorable hotel instead! When we asked for justification, they said they overbooked their room 5x.
We called their reception and they were not able to speak in English and asked us to call the day after. They told us they have available rooms and our booking is fine. Then again through website they reached out and told us that there is no availability.

It's a beautiful place with such nice customer service, the only thing is that they don't have too many different options for breakfast, but you're also 2 blocks from 2 of the most important markets of Oaxaca, so you'll be fine. I will definitely come back
