★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional service and great downtown location! This hotel is on the main road from Cancun to Chetumal. All basic necessities are met: bed, shower, towels. The beach is not within logical walking distance, but the drive is totally doable. I recommend Playa Paraiso beach. We partook in some of the best snorkeling there provided by gentlemen offering their services on the beach. We got a spectacular view of the Tulum ruins while watching sea turtles swim beneath us. The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is just past the more pretentious beach area of Tulum. Driving is absolutely necessary as well as taking your own food if you plan on staying for a while. Very daring and unique adventure! I wish we hadn't had been so hungry, otherwise we would have made it to Punta Allen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is great. The service is fine. The rooms are less desirable. The bed sheet has holes, though it's clean. The worst part is the loud music and bass from near by club during sleep time. It lasts until 3am.
