Hotel Chuuk Kay - 77310 Holbox

Good part: price is good. Rooms are nice and spacious. Its clean. And the hotel is located close to the center (but not to the good beaches) Bad part: noisy neighbours, bad cheap breakfast.

Free breakfast, friendly staff, really great location. I'll be honest, if you are expecting a fridge, hair dryer and iron then this might not be the right destination for you. Holbox is after all a developing island. There is a hair salon in town, so you can manage. Bring bug spray and lots of sun screen.

Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Just steps away from the beach. Stayed 2 nights and had to extend for additional night. Staff is very friendly and daily cleaning makes a nice difference. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Just need to be aware that you should get reservations at the small restaurant for dinner as it fills quickly and your only option is somewhere else or get food to go. If there is a tropical storm going on, elsewhere will be an issue. The food either in the restaurant or to go is great and the chef is a great person and also great chef. Staff is same as chef. I would stay again. I would give a five if somewhere they noted that it was best to get reservations for dinner. If not for the storm, we would have just hit another local restaurant with no issue. My rating is like 4.9 out of 5.

The best part about this hotel is its location- 1 block to beach and 2 blocks to downtown. We went from Dec 25-30th and paid total $1100 for 5 nights. It’s definitely high season! The first room they brought us to upstairs there were bugs everywhere ? it’s like they left a window open overnight. We obviously complained and they put us in a room downstairs which was more comfortable. The room is basic with no hair dryer or iron, but there is a safe. Also free breakfast but does not include eggs. Less than $5 usd for eggs. It was a fine hotel during high season but I would probably not stay here again. WiFi only works by front desk!

Great location near beach and centro but far enough from the noise of the bars. Attentive service and great value for cost.

Nice and decent hotel, with a great location if you want just to sleep and relax. Just a few steps away from the beach and about 400mts (430 yards) from downtown. The breakfast included is not that complete, but it's just complimentary. The scrambled eggs on the restaurant (with extra cost) were too greasy and was just a lot of greasy sausage with just a few pieces of fried eggs.

Great stay here. Wish I could have stayed longer. The owner was accomodating and friendly.
