Hotel Cordelias - 70902 Puerto Angel

Too expensive for the food you get. Ordered tilapia filet with rice and salad. It was ok but not worth 170 pesos. Could have overlooked that but in addition I've got the feeling we were only welcome because of the money we spend. This made this visit not a good experience.

Excellent place to do lunch or dinner , they show us the catch of the day and we chose fish , definitely ask for the house batter sauce ,it was very delicious, the staff was very friendly and prices are right for the place .

Great hotel with a nice view from the balcony. The people working there are so thoughtful and nice. They organize activities and can call taxis for you. I recommend going to the end of the beach on the right and eat at “la bambas”, they have amazing tacos.

This hotel is perfect! Amazing ocean view in front of playa Panteón. Beds are comfortable, AC worked well and there was a shower with warm water.Staff is very friendly and help you with everything you need to have a nice stay: get a Taxi, find a Tour, etc. Local people are friendly. This hotel has a restaurant and food is delicious. Mazunte and Zipolite Beaches are close but to be honest this Beach is a paradise to stay. Waves are tranquil to swim and sunset is astonishing to admire! You can relax and sleep with the sound of the ocean.I'll come back to this wonderful place. Children loved the beach and also is pet friendly.

such a sweet little hidden gem. tucked in a cove with crystal clear water. you literally wake up and see the sun rise and hear nothing but the ocean. super close to zipolite where we would go at night for dinner and the sunset. also you can take a boat to go whale watching at sunrise right from the beach below. unreal I had such a special time. one of the workers even drove us to the bus stop afterwards. everyone was so sweet and caring it was a really special week spent there. ❤️❤️

I didn't stay or eat here, but I did a boat service and I was very pleased with it. Captain was professional and polite and time and price was fine.

Great staff and well kept hotel. Clean room and towels daily. Staff is very friendly and helpful with excursions. It's an older boutique hotel with a lot of characters. Easy beach access and 5 outdoor restaurants to choose from. Take cash as there is no atms in the area. Beach is very kid friendly for Kayaking and snorkeling.

This will be a two part review, one for the hotel and one for the restaurant downstairs. The hotel is fairly nice, the rooms are OK. Beds are somewhat hard, thin mattresses. The rooms are not soundproofed what so ever. It's nice to hear the waves but not so nice to hear everything else. When people talk in the hallways it's like they are inside the room. No bedlamps, just a light in the celling. Check in and -out was smooth and the staff very friendly. The hotel is right by the beach which is a big plus. Now, the restaurant is not so nice. It's really hard to find anything nice with the experience that I had over a few days. First the food. Minimum effort has been put into what is served and the prices are steep! The waiters forget what you order, and the wait is sometimes very long. I had my book, so I wasn't in a hurry. The longest wait I had was close to two hours for a guacamole and a beer. That was from the first time I ordered it, replaced to order two more times before it finally came out. The place becomes very packed during peak hours during the day. Also check and remember the prices; several times we caught the waiters charging higher prices then listed.
