I already had 4 years without going and now it is completely different in all aspects. I was a customer since 2006 I'll start with the entrance. Very hot in reception they do not turn on fans, it took us about 30 minutes to check in. The bellman had too much work so we carried our bags. The older man who is at the entrance offering "free breakfasts" in exchange for going to a hotel, very rudely told him that I did not like going to "therapies" we came to rest, he was offended and said: I only sell those to "gringos" they can pay. When I got to the section 9 room, I asked someone to explain to me how to use the air conditioning because it didn't turn on, it was an older man from maintenance to whom I explained that the chambermaid came to me first and told me how to use it, for which he got upset. the Lord; That's what the bellman is for, I told him I had a lot of work and we decided to come to the room with suitcases. Room floor 9, the chambermaid very friendly and does her job well. Very X "remodeled" room, uncomfortable beds. Restaurant. NO variety in food, crafty waiters, they only come to remove dishes when you are about to get up and demand their tip. I had to stop to serve myself everything and take cutlery, even so they take offense because on several occasions I did not leave a tip. Waiters without service attitude. Half of the dishes dirty with food remains. They recycle the stews, what you see at night they take out in the morning and vice versa. Pool, always cold. Bar: they "jump" the customer, an older adult asked the bartender for an Alfonso 13 and he answered; How do i do it? I can't take the sugar out of the liquor. BEVERAGES with alcohol of very, very poor quality, as cheap as possible. Snack, the lady who had her injured hand very attentive, very kind, without her asking, we left her a tip, excellent service. Night tacos, if it were non-industrial tortillas like Soriana, their tacos would be a hit. Snack bar, Edwin is a good young man, pity his colleagues who abuse and "steal" his tips. When the young man is not there they take money from his tips. BEACH, impossible to swim, pure stone everywhere, in fact leaving the hotel is not sea sand but river sand, when entering to swim at the beach pure stone. There are sun loungers but hardly any umbrellas, what you have to do is rent umbrellas from the vendors outside the hotel. How is it possible that users put their speakers with music and they are not prohibited from doing so. NIGHT SHOW, excellent, entertainer who is in the hotel all day, very friendly. Few wear face masks, it should be mandatory, almost no one wears a face mask, at the hotel entrances they do not check temperature, they do not put gel, they let you order food and drinks without a face mask. BAR at the entrance: always ugly music on the screen and at a high volume, I better not go. PARKING LOT. Very small you have to wait until some guest came out. I would NOT return to this hotel by mistake and I would NOT recommend it, staff with no service attitude. there are better options

All excellent food, my room had many mosquitoes (although I think it was only in my room), very friendly staff except for the receptionist.

Fabuloso. That's the name of the cleaner you can smell all over Mexico. They even use it on the street! They certainly use it at Costa Club as well, the smell is hard to get away from. Unfortunately it doesn't apply to much else at the hotel. My friend and I were staying in one of their two bedroom suites. As a three star hotel I didn't expect much and the rooms were pretty much that, but the pictures had shown a small kitchen with microwave and fridge, and it didn't have anything in the kitchen at all. I would have expected at least a coffee maker. We spoke to management about it and they said that because it had gone all inclusive, the kitchens were all removed. The staff, on the other hand, were all very pleasant. After a couple of days, we had a waiter greet us as we came down to breakfast with our coffee and juice on the table. The cleaning staff were also very nice, most days our room had been cleaned by the time we got back from breakfast. Other than an over-enthusiasm for the above mentioned cleaner, they were great. The food left a lot to be desired. We were there over Christmas and New Years, and the meals for those night were quite good, but other days were sub-par. It's the food that mostly contributes to the 2 star review. We had heard the hotel caters more to Mexicans than tourists from other countries, so we expected medium quality Mexican food, but in general it was barely edible. While out around the city we had meals at inexpensive fast-food type restaurants that were vastly superior. There is one speciality restaurant which served Italian food that was quite good, but I think I might have known more about Italian cuisine than the staff there. We had quite a few meals there and pretty much ran the menu as it was not extensive. The mixed drinks were all using artificial sweetener (or perhaps stevia) which left a strange after taste in everything. I suspect this may be due to a sugar tax that has been added to Mexican soft drinks. The beers available were okay, we mostly stuck with the darker one, Indio. The wines were barely drinkable (don't get me wrong, we drank a lot of it!) but this is not uncommon in Mexico. As for location, it was a half hour walk from the Malecón, hard to beat for convenience. While the buses were a bit uncomfortable if you got one of the older ones, they would get you around very cheaply. Even getting an Uber back to the hotel was usually very low cost. Over all, not recommended, but hard to beat the price for a two bedroom suite.

They offer beachfront accommodations in studio, one, two, and three bedroom suites with either a kitchenette or full kitchen. Located at the south end of the North Hotel Zone next to the Sheraton Buganvillas Resort. It's a very good choice for families with a location within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and night life. I would categorize it as a strong three star property with a solid management team that continues to keep the facility in excellent condition considering it's very old. A new addition was recently constructed which will increase capacity and provide visitors with more choices. I like choices!
