Hotel Davimar - 81400 Guamúchil

Is the best hotel, great service, fabulous rooms and good location. It has a big parking.

It was ok, the drinks were good, just not perfect, but the service was good overall and fast.

For the town its is the closet and nicest hotel there is it is centric infront of the plaza. It has a good restaurant and is good for any travel and business.

The hotel davimar is an excellent place to visit. I love the restaurant, the food there is simply perfect the breakfast, the lunch and the dinner are very tasteful. Also there is WiFi that is another reason i like going there

This hotel is safe and comfortable. Free parking is covered and secure and the location can't be beat for access to shopping and events in the square and church. The location also means that rooms on the main street get all the traffic noise. The tiled hallways echo noise inside, which can be loud. Our neighbors were inconsiderate. Our room had a full and twin beds plus a closet and small desk. Usual amenities like TV and AC, and ours had an ironing board, washcloths, soap and shampoo as well as a hairdryer. They allowed our dog too, which is a super bonus.

Hotel is a good value with potential to really shine. However, skip the restaurant for the slow service and rude or racist or both middle-aged waitress. The hotel is undergoing renovations and has a lot of potential. Hopefully the owners will read my review and add some in-room coffee service and wash clothes. The old architecture is lovely but the bedspreads and curtains need to be updated in a better style. Something light and airy to complement the high ceilings and light walls. It could easily have a boutique feel with new linens/curtains. The beds in our room were hard though. It almoat felt like sleeping on a box spring. I was honestly tempted to go to a store in search of a memory foam topper becuase I was staying for 3 nights. Very good location right on the main plaza. Good a/c. Food in the restaurant was good, but slow. They are on the right track except for the customer service. Younger wait staff was great, and the maid was lovely, but front desk and the rude waitress acted like we needed to earn their respect. I travel a lot and speak Spanish fluently, so it was not an ugly American thing. If I were going to return to Guamuchil a few years from niw, I would to return yo this hotel to see the progress. It's an old beauty that deserves a second chance.
