★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm giving them five stars because I really liked the service and it was by far the cleanest and most comfortable spot I stayed at during my first ever trip to Mexico. That's not to say it is perfect. We checked in for a family vacation. My partner and I and two kids. Place has a pool. The surroundings is something i quickly got used to and already know I will miss it here when we leave. We stayed on the second floor in a two queen size bed room for two nights and then we upgraded for extra 200 pesos a night to suite for the remained of our stay. The suite is obviously much better. Internet is way more reliable on the top floor. Although still pretty spotty. The suites have balconies - which is a nice touch if you care to step out for any reason. Two restaurants. Blue Parrot has excellent food but the service is slow. They are however right next to the pool which makes it an attractive location. I only ate breakfast there. Parilla is the more upscale steakhouse. Food is excellent and service is better than anything I can afford back in USA. Special shout-out to my man Jose (one of the restaurant servers) who took really great care of us. The man is a legend and really knows about hospitality, deserves all the raises - that's why 5 stars. Room service on point. Drinks on point. Now don't compare this hotel to hotels in America (especially 4 star hotels). Some aspects will disappoint you. Some maintenance issues, not so much functional but cosmetic. The smaller room didn't have a mini fridge or even an ice bucket. The suite has a nice fridge. Beds are alright, spring mattresses, but not uncomfortable. Furniture is pretty tired. Certainly wouldn't fly back in USA. However against the background of the rest of Lázaro Cárdenas this place stands out as as a great spot to blow some money and live a little. Prices I can live with at my modest US salary. Location is very central, plenty of vendors, restaurants and convenience stores. Nobody robbed us. At least some of the staff spoke English. Lobby and hallways are pleasant and smell good. Offers a gym and laundry services as well as a computer office and plenty of banquet space. We also had the pleasure to frequent Kundrah by Casablanca which is a super nice beachfront restaurant with a pool and outdoor tables and beds you can lounge on - 15 minute cab ride from the hotel. As a foreign tourist in a strange land I really appreciated Hotel de Casablanca. Felíz Cinco De Mayo y Viva México.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do not speaking English first and is hard to communicate with them when there is issue, what happen was. There was multimillionaire company reserved the hotel room for 8 days, at second day and forth day the hotel manager lock out the room two times for payment without any notice, however, normally when you do checkout they charge you not the second day or fourth day even when I asked them why is like this they cannot explain whatsoever so this hotel management must get the management course and educated how to deal and respect so the way they did to me was unprofessional and disrespectful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a few years we have been staying in hotel Casablanca for several years the cleanliness is great, restaurants good quality are awesome so the restaurant service however last two reservation we had issues the hotel administration is horrible from the manager to the front desk. We paid in advance when we made a reservation for 3 suits at the time we arrived front desk told us the suits were not available, the receptionist are hopeless they are not empowered to fix any issues they lie saying the manager is no available. This year we made
A reservation for 3 suits and one room at the time I called to make the reservation they gave me a reservation confirmation code when me and my family arrive we had the same issues where the front desk receptionist told us that unfortunately they were not able to give us the suits that we made our reservation for , they gave us a room for one night as courtesy for the mistake made and told us that for the next night we will get the suits. The next day again me and my family were left without rooms. This was unbelievable horrible administration and customer
Service, the sales manager was not able to even resolve the issues she was completely lost, sadly the front desk employees have to take the heat from the the poor management operations. For sure me and my family are not
