★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great breakfast buffet - all you can eat for 150 pesos (less than $10 American). Nice ambience and view, especially from the outdoor patio which sits next to the cathedral. The coffee was great and there were plenty of great options for food; you could eat there twice and have two distinct and delicious breakfasts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hotel in a very rustic town. Pool was good. Free breakfast in the mornings. Rooms don't have ac so if you come in the summer...might be tough. Don't expect a 5 star hotel from the US. But for the area. It's good. Glad I stayed here for a wedding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please be careful with this hotel!! I am a photographer and they STOLE me all my photography equipment from the room while having a breakfast (about 6000 usd in equipment).
I wasn't the only person. Same day four more people got stolen from their rooms.
Please contact me if you had similar experience, we are connecting everyone who got stolen to file a lawsuit as a group against well organized group in this “hotel”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just stunning! The hotel is beautiful. Room was clean, great service at the front desk and the bar. Tall bartender and the short lady at the bar and pool area were awesome ( took care of us). The city view from our balcony was breathe taking. Fell in love with Taxco, will be going back.

Paid 40 for bottled water and 60 mxn for not fresh orange juice.
On top of tbag staff unfriendly waiter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got the junior suite and I recommend that you do too. The views are just great. There is a mine below the hotel and I recommend that tour. Sure the water pressure is not the best, but I attribute that to the location. The staff was great and I felt safe the whole time.

Hot water takes 10 minutes to reach some rooms. Spiders had taken over our Casita and no one had cleaned the room in a long time.
Definitely take the mine tour as it is awesome!
