Hotel Domani Suites Malecón Progreso - 97320 Progreso

I like it! Very clean, smells good, and it looks nice. I chose a pool-side room, which has a dorm-size fridge and a microwave. Nice little balcony. Everything works. The WiFi is nice and strong. Someone mentioned that the pool was too cold: there were like two days where it was too cold for me, but it was the middle of February. By the end of the week it was great!

Nice basic clean hotel with excellent location. Maid cleaning service is good. The bad stuff is the pool is very cold. The TV didn't work at first and the front desk staff are not that friendly and are a little rude. If you like a dark room for sleeping you are out of luck. Curtains are thin and balcony lights are on all night.

Love this hotel 8 day stay staff is so nice . Pool is just great. Hotel is nice and comfortable and has what you need. Location on the beach and close to awesome restaurants and the views are amazing. Will be back again. Next time for two weeks ??????

Currently staying at hotel domani and so far it’s hasn’t reached our expectations in anything. We chose this place for the gym, which they now have filled up with mattresses and when we tried to just move some weights outside so we could still train they told us that we weren’t allowed and that the gym is out of function and they have no idea when the beds will be moved. The second reason was for the kitchen that we saw on the pictures, which was the reason why we chose the suite instead of a regular room, and it has nothing in it only a microwave and a fridge. No kettle like it said it would and no cutlery to even eat with. Third reason was for the nice balcony with the view that we saw on the picture and we only got a tiny balcony looking in to our neighbours wall…. If I would know all of this I would have never booked here and it feels like we’ve been robbed compared to what we were promised whilst booking. Would advise you to book ANYWHERE else.

Great beachfront view. Suite 15 is the best. But the emenities are really really basic No iron, no fridge, no safe. Etc. 4 stars because the beach view is incredible.

The ocean front room is great. It gives you an opportunity to take a break from the oppressive heat during the day while still providing the opportunity to people watch. Plus, staying the night allows for insight into progreso,'s night life which is a whole nother experience. Insider tip: Better to stay the night or catch an Uber than risk getting stopped at the DUI check point when leaving the city on the weekend. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

Convenient location. The staff was friendly and the whole hotel was very clean. The rooms are simple but come with shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, and hand sanitizer. The only downside is you're able to hear everything...we could hear someone snoring below us. The air conditioner turned on but wasn't able to be adjusted and the ceiling fan was very squeaky.
