One star only for the location . The staff saw for the sun bed and umbrella are 700 MXP We agree and we stay all day and we sped 1000 MXP over the minimum spending but the bill was 1500MPX because are 700MXP each . Unfortunately the info when we arrived was different . Good location but very poor communication with client .

Do not book this place, they are very dishonest. I reserved a room last May and had to cancel early January, well before their 16-day cancelation for a 50% refund. I have been trying to get my refund ever since, and they absolutely refuse to pay it back. So unkind and dishonest.

We've been here twice and an amazing place with amazing vibe, We've seen them slowly change for the better everytime, beach is great, people are friendly and the Dos Ceibas Breakfast is delicious. Would definitely come back.

Santiago, our waiter in the bistro on the ocean, made our day. We were staying next door but after recommendations from family, we walked over for breakfast and certainly found it worth it. Santiago and Wilbert made us feel so welcome and pampered! Food was awesome and a great value! Next time we will stay here! Santiago was an incredible Dosceibas Ambassador!

Our group didn’t stay at this hotel, but we were guests of the beach club two days in a row because it was that great! It’s a little off from the party/clubby beach clubs which we liked because we could generally relax and have a beach day. The staff and service was great and the food was even better. They have one of the lower minimums of guests, which is easily met with a drink and a meal. By far the best pina colada I’ve ever had!

The service was very poor. The reception was working just from 11 AM until 7 PM, which for us was very inconvenient because we had tours and activities organized during the day so we would arrive at the hotel very late or leave very early in the morning. So actual time when we could speak with them or ask questions the receptionist was not there. Due to this we never could order any taxies in the morning because nobody was there. It happened that, one time we lost one tour ( which was 100 euro) because we arrived at the hotel in the evening and wanted to have a taxi in the morning, so we tried to confirm a taxi in the evening ( which based on what they say was confirmed) and we woke up in the morning and the taxi never come, we tried to find sth else but was too late and lost our pick up hour. Lost our money as well. Additionally, all the utilities are old. This hotel besides that has lack of stuff, seems to be overpriced and overpraised. For sure not worth the money for a night here. Another issue is the fact that is super far away from Tulum so if you want to travel multiple times to Tulum, it can get super expensive. One practical option would be the bikes. In general I would not recommend this hotel at all, if you can’t find another option, would be better. But of you would like a hotel which gives you a lot of challenges, you can choose this one.

Amazing hotel with an incredible ocean view (superior room recommended). Staff are kind, gentle and very helpful. We appreciated Alicia, she is a very welcoming person always with the smile. The bar is bit pricy but its Tulum. They offer an amazing breakfast. You can also ask for yoga course and mayan ceremony.

I didn’t stay in the hotel, but I highly recommend the beach club at Dos Ceibas. It is a hidden gem. We had a great experience! The prices are much better than any other beach clubs around. The food is really tasty and the service is great! You need to try the octopus with hummus. The hostess Eli was so attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. If you are looking for relaxing place to enjoy the beach this is your place!
