Hotel El Cid - 97000 Mérida

Es un holtelito de pueblo, bueno solo si quieres algo económico solo para dormir. Tiene aire acondicionado, cama ,más o menos cómodas y una tele que solo tenía un canal. Pero esta muy deteriorado. Me costó la noche 450 pesos por 2 personas. Tiene Internet, pero en algunas habitaciones la señal es débil.

Las fotos de internet prometen mucho más sobre la calidad de las habitaciones. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, el precio es muy accesible, la atención del personal de recepción es buena, en cuanto a la presentación la recepción se ve bonita, presentable, las habitaciones que nos tocaron tenían las paredes todas sucias, con manchas, una de las ventanas no tenia cristal lo que hacía difícil que el aire acondicionado enfriará rapido, solo "tela mosquitera" que estaba toda mal puesta y permitía que se metieran los mosquitos, en una habitación triple no nos dijeron que uno de los espacios no estaba climatizado, sino que solo tiene ventilador, el agua de la alberca se veía un poco sucia, los baños del área de alberca en pésimas condiciones sin luz.

Fuyez. Fuyez aussi vite que vous le pouvez. Je vous mets des photos. Juste le personnel sympa. Les photos sur Booking sont des années ouuuu lointaines très lointaines. C'est rare que je sois déçu mais là c'est pire. Nous voulions nous faire plaisir avec un hôtel milieu gamme. C est carrément miteux. Les seul vu des fenêtres c'est le mur d'à côté et je vous parlerai ni de la piscine ni des parties communes. Bonne chance à tous

Cool and suitable

It's a good place to stay for one or two nights. It 's comfortable but it isn't the best hotel.

Not the best place for the money... not so clean and the mosquito screens are completely useless... they are unattached from the wall which makes the room completely open to the outside

Not worth it. Far from the city center, there was never a spot for our car inside the parking lot eventhough parking was said to be included, the pool had been closed for weeks due to maintenance and we weren't informed until after we paid, no hot water (I don't mind, but it said it was included), sometimes no water at all, no towels, bed sheets stained with blood, the tv had a satellite cable box but none of the channels worked, the guy at the reception didn't even know where our room was so we had to figure it out ourselves after he misled us in the wrong direction 3 times, there is nothing close (no convenience store, no restaurants, no local food trucks), the area becomes very dangerous at night (we were the only people walking on the streets that were barely illuminated), some drunk men were smoking crack while sitting on the ground and leaning on the lobby's entrance wall meanwhile there was no one present in the lobby. On the good side, after they made us wait 20 minutes at check in because they couldn't find our reservation, they made a mistake in the room we had reserved which was sold out so they had no other choice but to upgrade us to a room with 2 double beds, not that it even mattered to us or made our experience better. Also, there is a restaurant which kitchen is basically in the hotel's parking lot. I really do not recommend you go there even if you're desperate. I have travelled a lot and have never since such huge and numerous cockroaches come out of the same place before. And I couldn't even start describing the smell that emerged from there....
