★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great. Very clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and even gave us special drinks for treating allergies and stomach aches.
They served a Fine dinner and breakfast with coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice place. The greeting from the owner/manager can be in English as she has great command of it. The price is right and the rooms are clean, comfortable and adequate if a bit spartan, though the water in the shower is HOT and with GREAT pressure. In this day of cell phones and tablets, the rooms need MORE than one electrical outlook. And most of all, it would be nice if the wi-fi advertised to be available really e=was. Like almost all Mexican hotels, the non-functioning of the wi-fi is blamed on Tel-Mex, which though true doesn't stop these hotels from advertising 'wi-fi available.'
And, the morning coffee is quite good.
All that being said, I would stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nostalgic hotel in a converted molino which processed sugar cane. The rooms are classic and incredibly comfortable. The grounds are well manicured and relaxing. The amenities and restaurant are top-notch. We enjoyed spending time in the pool, and temezcal. We highly recommend this hidden gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The room was very spacious and comfortable. The setting of the place is peaceful. Across the street from the hotel, we found wonderfully tasty beef tacos and stew. We were not able to take advantage of all of the kid-friendly activities at the hotel, including the pool and park. Judging from the looks of disappointment on our kids' faces when we had to leave early, they appear to be very entertaining.. Negative: The restaurant service was somewhat slow. We had a pretty large party, but there were many empty tables. The capacity of the kitchen to fulfill breakfast orders at a reasonable rate seemed to be limited. With all of the staff occupied taking orders and cooking, there was no one to re-fill the coffee for us..
