Hotel El Nido Holbox - 77310 isla de holbox

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff and owners were so pleasant and helpful, and their two dogs were perfect companions. The rooms were extremely well done and always clean. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and a few restaurants. Couldn’t recommend more!

Incredible place to disconnect and rest away from the touristic zone of Holbox. We had a wonderful time in this newly opened hotel. The staff and the dogs are excellent! Just a couple of potential improvements: - since it’s away from the center it is challenging to get a taxi on time, specially if you have to take the ferry. It happened to us that we lost the ferry and bus since the taxi took 1h to arrive. That could have been planned better by the hotel - breakfast is very good, but some more variety would make it perfect Thanks!!

Overrated!! Way too expensive for what you get there! We can’t recommend this place! - the people who work there are not professional and have a bad attitude - they have no idea how to talk to their guests in a polite way -breakfast is the same every! day: little fruit salad/sugary Joghurt and one egg dish, for cappuccino etc. you have to pay extra -aircon only works from 10 pm to 6 am, so be prepared for hot times, it’s no fun if you want to take a nap after lunch or just spend some time in the room - the bicycles we got for 200 pesos a day were almost broken and we couldn’t drive properly - on the website they say the hotel has a nice roof top that you can enjoy.. you can’t because there’s absolutely nothing on top, not even a chair.. - they sold us the three island tour for 800 pesos per person but actually the price is 500 pesos for the tour - they said transport to the habor is included but when we arrived there they told us that we have to pay the taxi back to the hotel.. Positive: architectures, clean rooms But in the end the architecture and style can be the best but if there’s no soul and heart in the service you can’t enjoy it!

Beautifully designed hotel and amazing service! Very luxurious and comfortable rooms, and the common spaces (pool and lounge, dining area, etc.) are also beautiful and relaxing. The staff are all very nice, especially the gentleman at the front desk who was super helpful with every question and really went above and beyond. They serve breakfast which was included and lunch as an add on - both of which were lovely and included things like local honey from one of the staff’s hives and fresh handmade pasta. Only thing to note is that as the hotel advertises, it is very far from the town ?. On the map, it looks close, but don’t be deceived. It’s actually quite far by taxi because of the conditions of the roads (maybe 15-20 minutes of bumpy ride). It’s about a 30 min walk by beach which is very, VERY beautiful at sunset time, but just beware that during the day the sun is quite strong and the heat can be intense which makes it a bit harder than you think. We were only there a couple of days and realized towards the end of the trip that it probably makes the most sense to rent a bike, as biking down the beach would just take a few minutes.

We had a great time here! It's a beautiful hotel on the queit side of the island, great service, delicious breakfast every morning, amazing cocktails and lovely rooms, pool and facilities. Recommend!

We felt in love with the place! Super nice design, good atmosphere and very kind crew! Clean and always punctual service. It is also good that it is not in the city center of Holbox but in the quite area. Name of the place is given by the close "nesting place of fishing eagles" ? we saw these nice creatures every day. We also felt in love with their French Bulldog "Carlo" ?

Loved our stay. Very chill vibe. Loved out time at the hotel. Will stay here again when we come back. It’s a little far from downtown but the golf cart taxis make the experience even better. Great coffee and breakfast in the morning. The pool is a great way to spend the day if you want to skip then ocean. The staff are amazing.

We had a wonderful time at El Nido, it was calm and full of lovely people. The staff were accommodating and polite. The breakfast is also very generous and yummy. The hotel design is lovely too. Big beds which are very comfy. The area is peaceful and the Pool beanbags are also incredibly comfy. I would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you El Nido!
