Hotel en bacalar "Bacalike" - 77930 Bacalar

Una grata experiencia, el lugar muy tranquilo, súper limpio, y la gente amable, nos dieron excelentes recomendaciones de lugares, del club de playa y sitios para almorzar. Solo está un poco retirado del centro, pero en Bacalar todo es cerca. Son Pet friendly :)

Il s agit d un petit hotel, simple et propre à l écart de la zone plus proche de la lacune. L accueil a ètè très chaleureuse. Ils acceptent des animaux et en adoptent (il y a plusieurs chats sur place). Ils font des petits projets pour controler les déchets et font du recyclage afin de garder ce paradise propre pour l avenir. Il y a un temascal qui s organise souvent sur place. La madame qui nous a accueillî est charmante et amicale, ils nous a donné beaucoup des informations par rapport aux tours, promenades et lieux intéressants à découvrir.

Hicimos el temazcal y fue una experiencia increíble. Nos trataron con mucho amor, cariño y muy atentos a nuestras necesidades. Podías salir del temazcal si es que lo necesitabas, nos explicaron todo el proceso y guiaron en la experiencia. También recibimos recomendaciones y compartimos experiencias. Se sintió muy amigable y como estar en familia. Recomendado. Se notó que no era una experiencia armada para el turista, sino que una real y a conciencia, enfocada en el bienestar.

One night stay in BACALIKE turned to be a wonderful 12 day experience my husband & I will never forget. HOTEL is NEW, clean, spacious, fresh, comfortable & peaceful. It offers many good things for human well being & happiness, including Sauna. BacaLike is our favorite Hotel in Bacalar & we recommend it to everyone. I really enjoyed the host Eunice, very kind and helpful.clean rooms with ac and toilets , spacey yard with chill area. Big plus she helped us to driver to local swimming areas and restaurants. THX for letting us stay here ?

What a disappointing experience!!! I stayed here a month ago. I thought hotel was new so I was able to forgive some problems we had. The toilet was broken and they weren't able to repair it which was a problem. Eunice seems to be a nice person at the first look unless there is really something going about. Last time she tried to sell us overpriced boat trips but we didn't go with her. We found it much cheeper from the direct seller at marina (if you go around the shore there are many sellers everywhere). We got a good deal for 1600 MXN for 9 people 3 hours trip. She was offering this tour for 4750 MXN: She is not trustworthy person. Last time (May 2021) we paid for 3 rooms - sleeping for 10 people (5 double beds) - less then 1000 MXN. This time we booked directly with her. She even remembered us from previous trip. She gave us the price 950 MXN directly for double room (2 double beds for 4 people).. When we arrived, they were forcing us to pay extra cost for 3 small children under 8 years 180 MXN each (no breakfast, no towels, no beds, no extra cost for them). She started to explain she must charge us as she is only employee (her mother initiate that extra cost and I really think they operate a family business). So sad she couldn't be sincere and tell us directly instead of lame excuses. She knew we had small children. She didn't warned us about extra cost. If we knew ahead we could have booked something else easily and not to bring luggage from the car to the room and back to the car and late looking for another place to stay overnight was a big hassle. I though even 950 was a lot for what you get but paying 1490 for a room with two double beds without breakfast is ridiculous. They are so faraway from everything so without car it isn't a fun. And Bacalar lagoon doesn't have those beautiful colors as it used to have any more. People are complaining about much less tourists. Being destroyed with chemical and hurricanes it is more green and gray.

Great value for what you receive. Great hosts. Family atmosphere and peace and quiet. A bit far from the shore but worth the walking experience. If you cant be bothered to walk than Bacalar in general isn't the place for you.

Cosy hotel in the center of Bacalar with an awesome vibe. The host family was very warm and kind. They often checked whether they could assist us with anything. Our car had a flat tire and our host even went to buy a new one for us! If your looking for a warm home with a family that would go the extra mile, here is the place to be!?
