★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful four nights here. The design wonderfully captures the palate of Oaxaca, the service was superb, and with only 12 or so rooms, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable space to unwind with a book and a cocktail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely experience here! The design is impeccable- every detail is beautiful. The passionfruit cocktail is VERY tasty. We had Christmas Eve dinner in the restaurant and it was great! Highly recommend Hotel Escondido for your stay in Oaxaca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Escondido is a great example of the “you get what you pay for” principle. Although it’s expensive compared to other options in Oaxaca, the quality of service and the accommodations well exceed what you would find at other locations.
I would highly recommend the location if you aren’t as concerned on budgeting. If budget is a concern the hotel is still good, but there are many other great, more affordable options in the touristy part of town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply outstanding. Recently returned from a short get away with my wife in Oaxaca, and we were lucky enough to spend our time with Escondido Oaxaca.
The ambience, the service, the food, the design-all were superb and top notch. I can't recommend them enough.
When a few days before our stay, we were notified that the pool would be out of service due to necessary repairs, we were disappointed. However, the staff took care to not only address our concerns, but to offer additional services in lieu of the pool being available. This is the mark of excellence.
Every day, smiling faces greeted us. Eager and willing to assist with anything, knew our names, checked in with us regularly. I was terribly impressed!
We can't wait to go back, and will be recommending to all of our friends and family. Escondido Oaxaca was an amazing base to explore the beautiful city of Oaxaca. Thank you!!!!!
