Hotel Esperanza - 82016 Mazatlán

Very clean room,the people that work there are very honest,l lost my phone with all my documents in it and money and they saved it for me my trip would have been ruined.

Our second visit here. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to the central bus station and beach. Good value for the money.

Clean, quiet, close to the beach, close to restaurants and shops, WiFi, friendly staff, everything I need for $14 per night.

We were looking for a spot to stay overnight on our way down the coast. Literally was looking for the most affordable spot no frills, and was surprised by the customer service - awesome! Room was eighteen bucks and not far from the beach. Will be back.

This is a very basic bed and bath hotel within a few blocks of the beach. It is clean and the host is very friendly and does speak English. It is on a main road, but you will need to walk or take a taxi for meals or tourism. A LEY grocery and OXXO convenient mart are close by.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. While other hotels were jacking their prices for the end of year holidays, Esperanza was at 400 pesos for a room. Good wifi, clean room, and a great air conditioner.

had a great time at the Esperanza. quarantined here in this hotel for two weeks after flying in from Queretaro. don’t get it twisted, it’s not the Ritz. it’s a simple hotel that’s cheap, has hot water, and very basic amenities. but it’s clean, and the people who work there are super sweet. in particular there are two ladies (Giorgia & Cynthia) who were incredibly kind and helped me out a TON. they gave great recommendations and suggested some awesome food spots. if you’re looking for a simple spot that’s comfy and affordable this is the spot. good location. excellent price. great service. highly recommend

I chose this hotel due to the close proximity to the bus terminal. I had just a backpack and found the location across the road very convienent for my needs. The reception area of the hotel has a very comfortable seating area, with bathrooms, television, easy access to microwave and coffee maker. The receptionist was very inviting and made my reservation through Booking hassle free. I even got a discount due to my Genius discount which was appreciated. The room #10 that I received was nothing special but the major necessities were met and everything worked and seemed clean. I felt my room was secure, the hot water in the shower was at a perfect temperature, the ceiling fan and windows provided very good ventilation. There is drain cover in the shower to keep out any of potential odors. The price is still decent on the weekends even when prices at nearby hotels increase. I have stayed at other hotels nearby that were charging double the price and yet had a better experience at Hotel Esperanza
