Positive: Nice rooms, beautiful grounds, very good service (especially the porters) well located within the city; close to downtown but much quiet/more relaxed.. Negative: Our room didn't have a good view, looked onto a roof with pipes and vents, but we enjoyed our stay a lot anyway..

Positive: Great facilities, spacious and comfortable rooms. Very good WiFi. Parking on premises.. Negative: I didn't like the fact that my window was facing the courtyard of another hotel which had a party going on at night (not the hotel's fault I know). I asked to change room as the party would continue until late. The hotel refused in changing me the room as the hotel was "apparently full". Nothing was done from their side, therefore I went to the pharmacy and I bought earplugs in order to sleep that night. I would have appreciated them offering me earplugs as a solution not me going late at night to buy them..

Nice rooms, good beds, good layout. We had excellent service, my friend had a medical issue and the hotel quickly sent a doctor to the room. The restaurant, front desk, and valets were also good and helpful. Our room didn't have the best view and we were a little disappointed, but only because the grounds are nice and we would have liked to look at them! We liked that it's a little bit away from the city center since it's much more relaxed. Overall we liked it a lot and would definitely stay here again.

Guanajuato is the State I was born and I learn to love Guanajuato City, wonderful. We stayed three nights in Ex-Hacienda de San Xavier (Formerly Camino Real, gone for good, as they use to do, abandoning cities), the have a formidable location and in principle, very good facilities. However, probably due to the pandemic, the hotel is understaff and shows the lack of maintenance in its facilities, from the garage door (chipped paint, does not have an automatic opener, nor CCTV,) to most exterior walls to the rug in the rooms. In our room, the water accumulated in the shower, the floor had the wrong slope!. The reception toilet, one basin broke and was replaced with another design, looks terrible, urinal is in bad shape. They MUST change the soap and shampoo supplier, terrible, unusable toiletries. Restaurant offers a limited menu, quality is acceptable and staff is friendly. Hope the recover quickly to return and have a better experience

Luv the hotel. Mexican hacienda style. Suitable for whole family visit. It's not in the middle of the crowd but you get different view as well. It's really nice and safe to walk around everywhere. Staff were really kind. Oh... luv the bed really comfy.

I decided to stay in a hotel, for a period of recuperation after surgery. My decision was taken because there was (still is) building work going on at my house. I really needed a place that was comfortable and quiet, where I could chill. If I say so myself, it was an idea of genius ... I ended up staying a month! The hotel staff were lovely and looked after me with great care and attention to my needs.
