T	Tom Deus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quality hotel with a good adjoining restaurant. WiFi only worked in the lobby and not consistently. Really friendly and helpful front desk staff. It's also not far from lots of shopping.

I paid the exact same price for an imaculate room (see Hotel D Frank). Hotel Fenix looks like a 4 **** property. Soft bed, phone (difficult to find anymore) large flat screen, air conditioning, free WiFi, doors with bolt locks. The baño is very limpio (clean), with mucho towels. And Best of all, agua caliente! Hot water. If you're on a medium budget I would recommend this hotel over hotel IBIS. At the time of this review the cost of hotel Fenix is $25 US 420.00 Mex pesos. you will hear personas call the peso dollars which is confusing because it isn't a dollar!? Anyway, Hotel Fenix estás perfecto.
H	Howard West (West) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book in advance, this place fills up quick. It's a modest little hotel in the heart of Los Mochis with no frills. If you want a clean bed, clean room, and friendly staff, look no further. The clerk will set you up with transportation if you need it, and the reception will help you with your luggage. There is no elevator, but that is common. One thing I won't forget is the man who worked reception who helped us with our luggage at night was there the next morning to help us with our luggage again. When we got to the taxi he shook the driver's hand and spoke to him in spanish, telling him "I want you to take good care of my friends here, they're very nice people and they've traveled a long way to visit us." It was a nice gesture, and made us all feel very welcomed.

After we let them know, they changed us to another one that had no towels. Went and asked for them to the cleaning personnel. Check-out was fast in early morning and reception staff helped getting a cab.

Our room had a decidedly seventies feel in it's decor, which we found charming. Bed was comfortable. Staff was polite, cheery and helpful. The attached restaurant had a wonderful breakfast menu and was also very reasonably priced. Seemed to be a popular place with locals as well as travelers.

The highlight (compared to most nearby hotels) is the hot water at all hours. Friends who stayed at the well known hotel around the corner rarely had this important amenity. There is not a protected parking lot but the hotel has a night watchmen on the street who seems dedicated. This is a safe part of the city and I had no choice concerns with leaving my vehicle on the street.
R	Ryan Van Deusen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lady helped our 4 little kids up the stairs with their luggage and then helped us find local necessities. Rooms are nice, not extravagant, but maintains all the "little thungs" that go along with good hospitality. Clean. Quality. Considerate. WiFi works well.
