We booked this place super last minute. We had a reservation at a different hotel two blocks away but it was... gross. We took a chance on this one and wow. Clean, friendly staff, and calm. I would say maybe get a room that is not right off the streets if you are a light sleeper due to the cars in the morning. There was a little noise from the workers in the morning, while they were cleaning but I was already awake so it did not bother me. Parking is free but not attached to the hotel. There is a lot across the street that you have to pay for but it’s not expensive. Awesome AC too. We had to turn it up or off because it got too cold. Haha! Overall, great place for one or two nights and would definitely come back in the future. Oh and the water pressure is great and there is really hot water for those who like to burn themselves alive while taking a shower (I prefer warm water...). Haha! One more thing: they have a sign that they do not do refunds. Just FYI

You can not park in front of the hotel! Very small tiny room. Not enough space in the bathroom. You can not even open the bathroom door completely, you can not even use the toilet comfortably because your knees touch the wall in front of you. The best thing was the breakfast! You a voucher and go to a restaurant to have your breakfast.

The staff was semi friendly and quite distracted whenever we passed them. The pool is - sorry, but that’s how it is - a bad joke, the 1m deep water is so murky you can’t even see your feet, plus it’s in the middle of the lobby, only separated by the elevators, so not really an enjoyable atmosphere. Furthermore, the whole area was dim and reverberating, the latter being especially annoying since when we went to bed AND when we woke up in the morning (involuntarily...), there were kids playing super noisily and nobody cared to tell them or their ignorant parents that there are actually other people there as well, maybe sleeping as people might do from time to time in the early morning... Additionally, the room was just a plain disaster. It was tidy all right, but it smelled absolutely disgusting since there was serious mold in the pipes and that evaporated into the tiny bathroom as well as the bedroom and it was really hard to not just walk back out of the room when we entered. And, to trump all of that, the teeny tiny room itself had no window. There was a window not possible to open facing the reverberating indoor area, but no window at all where you could let in fresh air, if you’re not willing to open your room door to the hallway... No natural light in there, no fresh air, no tranquility, no way to get rid of the heavy smell. So to sum it up: for being practically a tiny stinky chamber it was wayyyy to expensive!! Don’t go there is you have any aspiration of even a little bit of comfort!

Was very disappointing. A small cramped room that was very noisy. There is no sound proofing in the room. The bathroom was quite disgusting was not clean mold all over the shower and the shower it's self was pretty pathetic only had hot water once out of the 2 nights we stayed. The internet did not work. Only good thing to say was the beds were quite comfortable

We paid for two weeks at this hotel with the understanding they had WiFi. On our first morning we couldn't get the internet on ant of our devices. I went to the front desk and nobody spoke English, and my Spanish is poor. The clerk finally turned the monitor around so we could use Google translate (since my phone had no internet) she said they don't have internet all the time only during certain hours. When it finally came on it was so slow I couldn't get a car rental or realtor websites to load. We tried two phones and a laptop they were all the same. We came to Merida to look for a house to buy and not having working internet was a no go. WE CHECKED OUT THAT MORNING BUT THEY CHARGED US FOR THE ENTIRE TWO WEEKS. We booked through United Hotels (from the airline) and they couldn't be reached from a friends phone in Mexico and back in the states, I would get disconnected and after 40 minuets on a call that didn't hang up i got tired of waiting so I couldn't speak to them. A complaint to our credit card company started then they put the charge back on. WARNING NO/POOR INTERNET NO ENGLISH OR HELP! Stay some place else.

Worst experience ever! When we arrived they told us there wasn't WiFi in the rooms even if on booking was written! When we were going to sleep in to the beds we founded bad things like air, stains and mold; the smell was unbearable. Receptionist, tried to change our room, but the situation was the same everywhere.

Lovely staff, He let us check in super early after staying in an unpleasant hotel down the road the night before. Got a king bed for $28 usd a night couldn’t beat that. The shower pressure and hot water made this hotel well worth it. Only downside our room did smell a little off but we didn’t mind at all it was a great stay.
