Stayed across the street at Vicky's she has a great restaurant.

Quaint colonial hotel. Paul and Joanna are friendly hosts. Great ceiling fans and covered parking.

The owners are beautiful people are so welcoming cant help you enough ...they are also doing a great sponsor of helping unwanted and un healthy dogs ..my heart goes out to these poor animals ..they have them fixed so no more unwanted puppies ...they raise money to give to an organization to help them and educate the mexicans about having a dog or cat...please give dearly if you are staying there or just in the area ...the food here is fantastic...if you have unlimited Spanish staying here is good as they speak and have written menus in English....very very close to the amazing beach ..and an awesome terrace with a spectacular view and pool....

We can't wait to go back, our kids are nearly old enough to visit now, and of all the many places in Mexico we have been, this magical place is top of the list to visit again. The hosts were amazing and years later we still remember how they went out of their way to accommodate us!

We absolutely loved our stay at Flor De Maria. We were made to feel so welcome, they couldn’t do enough for us. The place was great value for money. It is a short taxi ride (50 peso / £1.80) away from La Punta (which is where we spent most of our time), it was good to be away from the hustle and bustle in quiet for sleeping! The rooftop provides the perfect view for sunset. The room had a ceiling fan that kept us sufficiently cool in the evenings, absolutely no need for air con! And to top it off, they have the cutest animals that are laying around. We miss Lola the cat. Thank you to Paul and Joanne for your kindness and hospitality. We won’t forget you !

I promise to update more later. Come back to read more. This vacation was mind and life changing for me. Was it solely due to Hotel Flor de Maria? Probably not entirely, however the kind and understanding hosts have choreographed the most beautiful dance of people supporting the hotel, and thus me. Remo was absolutely outstanding and helped me realize that there is a reason for an afternoon siesta. Also, he knows the best pizza place in town! Thank you to the breakfast ladies who let me know they would make coffee as soon as they arrived (6 am?). Thank you to the room staff who made me know that my belongings were safe. And thank you for washing and air drying my dirty clothing for a very small number of pesos. And, thank you to the horrible customer service at Kiwi dot dot dot Com who messed things up so badly and caused me to buy an additional airline ticket to get home... Because without their horrible mistake, I may not have been able to appreciate the respite vacation I needed.
