The check-in is suppose to be at 3pm. The rooms were not ready at that time so we did it at 3:30pm. There were no towels in the room, we called 3 times until someone came and gave them to us. The rooms are nice and I do believe the personnel try their best because they are nice and serviceable

Great hotel! Best in town. Privileged location near Guelaguetza Festival, and free downtown shuttle with the hotel chofer! Really clean rooms and pretty nice people. Food is also amazing.

There are so many nice places in Oaxaca city, this is NOT one of them. The pool is under maintenance for “unknown” time! They try to solve it by sending you to another hotel for the pool... not working, we tried and it was jus problems. The rooms are loud, you can hear everything from hallway and in our case from the kitchen! and even the curtains are too short so you will be at sunrise. The staff is friendly that is why I give it 2 stars.

It was pretty good. Had the Junior Executive Suite facing the mountain. Asked for early check-in, didn't get it. Restaurant no good. Lovely room. Put up do not disturb sign for three days: no one disturbed me.

Good rooms, food, and location (~15 minutes to city center by foot) and friendly staff, but poor swimming pool (small, not very private - in the entrance in front of the lobby) and hit-or-miss service. My girlfriend was there on a big professional gathering and I was to join her later when it ended. The manager offered an alleged discount if she stayed in their hotel and gave her a quote higher than what you get online. When confronted, she lied that our price didn't include taxes, even though we had actually already booked the room online with them for that price. During her stay, my girlfriend got trapped ~30 minutes in the elevator and missed an important commitment. Lights didn't work. Alarm didn't work. She screamed until she nearly lost her voice. Staff did nothing. Guests eventually heard her, managed to open the elevator, and helped her out. She complained to the receptionist. The receptionist gave her 3 pieces of fruit and refused to apologize. She then talked to the manager. The manager refused to give her a soup and also refused to apologize. Meanwhile, another guest got trapped in the same elevator. No warning sign anywhere to be found. Restaurant staff sometimes serves bread not included in your menu, then charges you extra. Unreliable taxi quotes. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and I'd stay there again.

Great staff, quite rooms (only if without view on the city). Restaurant's menu after breakfast is poor.

Because we had a family trip, I booked three rooms for one night, esterday. I got bit by bed bugs as well as my son I called the reception desk to speak with a supervisor and was told I would receive a call back I waited in the room when I saw no one called I went down to turn in keys and once again try and speak to a supervisor.Just to be told the same thing, that no supervisor was available. The receptionist had me send the pictures to there whatsapp account, they also took a message that someone would contact me and it is now 9 pm and still no one has contacted me. I will never be staying here again.

This hotel is very nice!! The lobby is modern and clean, the restaurant is delicious and fair in price, and the pool is maintained daily. The rooms are a bit out dated. We stayed on the 4th floor facing the rear of the hotel, so the view was bad. But the room was very clean and housekeeping did an amazing job every day. The AC unit worked well, but was very noisy (caused me to wake up a few times at night) turns out it was the blades moving the air that caused all the noise, but I just turned off the "airflow" feature and the blades stay still. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are kind of small in size, but large enough for 1 person to change and get ready. The location was a bit far from everything. Walking to downtown is about a 15-20min walk. In the sun, it feels like 1hr. Grabbing a taxi was not too bad here. The average price from the hotel to the city center is around $60-80 pesos. If it's $80 don't tip, they're charging too much. If it's $60 give around a $10 tip. Apparently they charge non tourists around $50 for the same ride. These are all pesos by the way. So it's about $3-6 usd. Overall if you're looking for something away from the city but not too far, comfortable and quaint, this is the place.
