★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a comfy hostel which is only a block away from the beach. It has a familiar atmosphere because the owners are living with their children on the property. The building and the rooms are lovely, cozy as clean. There are strong fans on the sealing which is very important for this area. The hostel has a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, a big fridge with a freezer. Jorge is a nice host and he has lot of good tips for this area. It’s also possible to book different tours and courses via Jorge.
In the end it’s is hostel with a calm surfer vibe for good money

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute and cozy Hostel only a few steps from the beach and close to all the restaurants and bars. There is a shared kitchen with all the necessary tools and baskets to keep your stuff safe in the fridge.
The only downside is that they are building a bigger hotel just next to it so there is some noise from the construction during the day, hopefully this will end soon. The owners are friendly and they live in the property with their kids so it has a very chill family vibe. They are open to give out recommendations for places to eat or to visit. I would stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is beautiful in the middle of nature yet close to the restaurants, cafes and the beach. At night you can hear birds chirping you haven't heard before. The pool is amazing. Some rooms have AC so it's a relief from outside. The rooms with the "palapa" style have fans. Staff is super friendly, they make you feel at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location ambiance and total comfort. Booked the private loft through Airbnb and we were sad to leave. I've been to several spots around Zicatela but this boutique hotel is ideal for its proximity to the beach and activities yet it is reclusive enough to allow you to rest at night away from the music of the main avenue. It has a kitchen and the market is walking distance plus there is coffee right on the corner. Drinks are available and boards to rent as well. Pool guy cleans before sunrise and it is gorgeous and one of the cleanest pools I've seen at a resort. The staff is very friendly like family. Don't overlook this gem ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have spend few days in gallo del mar in group o 8 people. Before we arrived, we get some good advices from Sergio (the owner) and he was very heplfull with everything during our stay. This place is super cozy, chill and relaxing. Pool is awesom during hot Puerto days. Hotel is very clean and whole staff is super friendly. Location is excellent as well, beach is just behind the corner. We gonna come back definitly!
