Magical place. So close to Monterrey. Great garden. Expensive stay over night though ;)

Great place to have a great breakfast with a million dollar view to the lake.

The view is fantastic from almost anywhere in the hotel, and the villas are well worth it, the spa is also very relaxing with profesional workers who know what they are doing. Everything is very clean and are very strict on their policies for Covid-19 as well as friendly staff. My deal breaker had to be when we and were lied upon arrival, We took advantage of a package upon reservation and as soon as we arrived a girl told us our package reservation included a lunch as well and told us she would give us an explanation during lunch on what else is included in the hotel, activities, and then give us a tour around. DONT FALL FOR IT, ITS ALL A LIE! THEY HAD US SIT FOR 3 HOURS TO TRY AND SELL US A CLUB MEMBERSHIP! Even if they tell their explanation takes a moment, they will have you wait, then leave and have "their manager" come talk to you, then switch back (with a long wait in between), rinse and repeat. We kept telling them we had to leave because we had an important appointment to attend to but they just wouldn't let us go until I handed out my credit card to pay a large sum I was not ready to pay. We barely managed to get out of there after constant back and forth, we ended up loosing our appointment (and the deposit we made) because of these people. This made the stay pretty uncomfortable afterwards as we would recognize the staff members who tried to force us into this when we would walk down to the restaurant, pool or lobby. That was horrible and no way to have your guests feel during their stay.

You can tell the hotel is fairly new and some of the staff is just learning how everything works but they sure make an effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The view is amazing, unfortunately we were there on a rainy day. The beds are super comfortable. We were there for New Year’s and the dinner was amazing. Great price and huge portions, maybe too big. I felt so bad I couldn’t finish most of my food (I’m a small person) and obviously couldn’t ask for takeout. Tadeo (Sorry if I got his name wrong) our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we were having a lovely time. The only two inconveniences we had were that the hot tub wasn’t working yet and the restaurants didn’t have high chairs for our baby, I’m guessing because of the hotel being so new.

Not a hotel to vist again, I was offer a late check out and bunch of benefits by hearing those SALES conversations, after the conversation everything change no nenefits at all, they were like a just I´m sorry which is totally disspointed, if they can´t commit to their word don´t mention it but also don´t use our personal time, on the other hand is pricy, expensie for the quality, I´m ok to pay high whenever the service, amenities and products are high standards, this time they use our precious relax time and promised things that they coulnd´t attain. Not a hotel to come back, perhaps only dinner at the Restaurant.

I loved the beds and the shower but the view my room had was awful. It’s great for couples not families. The breakfast was also awful. I didn’t get a chance to try the pool but it looked great and we roasted marshmallows over a fire at night. Overall 6/10.

This restaurant was awesome and so were all the waiters and waitresses. We came twice within 3 days! Cafe de olla was delish and the drinks from bar were also good. The foods we all ordered we were all happy with how hot and fresh it was. Our appetizer was queso fundido one with mushrooms the other with chorizo. Top meals my family liked was the hamburger, steak and camarones al mojo de ajo were top notch. Flour tortillas and blue form b tortillas were also very good. Next day we had buffett /brunch many foods and pastries to select from, even meals for the kiddies to enjoy. To top off our family time the seating of the outdoors made it extra nice. We went when weather was perfect. Scenic views are relaxing and beautiful.
