Hotel Hacienda de Guadalupe - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

Possibly one of the most beautiful restaurants in town, especially at night. Try their cochinita pibil. It's great!

Last night we went to this place to take salsa dance lessons ...and dance to a live band after that... the atmosphere is delightful the wait staff were nice and we just had all around Good Times

Very nice hotel, with super friendly staff. The room was comfortable and had great air conditioning. The pool area was really nice and peaceful. The pool is not heated, so it was pretty chilly, but felt great on a hot day. I think the best part of this hotel is the friendly staff who were always willing to go the extra mile to make you feel taken care of.

Absolutely fantastic. It it simply amazing to find this type of boutique rooms in this incredible location at this price. There is no better deal around. The restaurant is very good. It is extremely convenient, you can shop around and simply walk back to the hotel and leave your bags several times a day. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable Will definitely stay there again.

Not a hotel i would recommend Its expensive for what you get, no breakfast restaurant opens at 1pm, room smelled like drainage, you get a better room in other hotels on the main plaza

This was a great hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bar served great cocktails with fresh lime juice, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the room had air conditioning. The only negative points were regarding the bathroom: the shower head wasn't affixed properly to the water feed, which meant it was spraying water onto the ceiling, and there was a hole in the floorboard by the shower, I'm assuming from water damage. We didn't try the food but judging by the cocktails it would've been great.

For those who have planned trips to San Miguel de Allende .. we had a terrible experience at the HACIENDA DE GUADALUPE hotel located in the center of SMA… since we arrived the lobby was horrible .. the furniture was all stained, the chairs too. we looked for a Different place to stay but for obvious reasons (New Years Eve) everything was completly booked. We went up to the rooms and they were "ok" but the door of my room NEVER opened, people from the staff had to come up to open us because it had a "trick" ... the shower splashed EVERYWHERE ... where you put the soap and the shampoo was turned over every so often and I had to bathe with BOILING water because every time I wanted to move the cold water tap, it would come loose. I placed my purse (that as a woman we carry everything) on ​​one of the tables in the room, (which is what they are for) and it went sideways and for obvious reasons it broke a bit. We discussed it at the lobby and when we checked out they wanted to charge us $ 5,000 pesos ... which is an ABUSE since not even the hotel night costs that and everything in the hotel is very old and a meter of that stone does not cost less than $ 500 pesos. They brought us the police, (3 police man for one table) and they didn't want to return our truck to us. never stay and in case they know of someone who is going to travel soon to San Miguel ... so that you are aware!
