It was very hot in the room, the mariachis did not let me sleep, apart from that everything was excellent, good value for money, your facilities, the best thing is the location and parking, excellent place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelente lugar para descansar, céntrico y con una buena atención del personal. Para estas temporadas de calor si deberían tener aire acondicionado las habitaciones aunque esto implicará un aumento en la tarifa ya que el ventilador no amortiza el calor.
Excellent place to rest, central and with good attention from the staff. For these hot seasons, the rooms should have air conditioning, although this will imply an increase in the rate since the fan does not amortize the heat.

The Week Before Christmas 2016
The Man Behind the Front Desk Said We Did Not Have Reservations and Turned Us Away - We speak Spanish and had booked based on all the good reviews in Spanish and wondered if his actions were based on our being American?
Thing is that like all good travelers we had confirmed our reservations at the hotel that very morning just before we left from Tlaquepaque.
So - rather than deal with an obvious liar or hater we went to Google Maps and in less than a minute found the Hotel Francia.
Then we walked ...
(Avoid walking on 5 de Mayo - it's the major traffic corridor - the sidewalks are crowded and uneven - you'll be shoved)
... to the Hotel Francia and they made us feel welcomed
AND the Hotel Francia is in the safest and the best location in the city - right on car-free Main Plaza - Yipee!
