Don Martín establece su residencia en el Palacio que habitó Moctezuma (hoy Monte de Piedad) en la Ciudad de México. Se formó un complot en contra del Virrey y las reuniones tienen lugar en las propiedades de Don Martín según varios historiadores, su sitio preferido fue la hacienda Vista Hermosa. Don Fernando Cortés Ramírez de Arellano, nieto del conquistador, muere antes que su padre y su hermano, Don Pedro, llega al poder luego de una acalorada batalla legal contra la esposa de su hermano sobre la herencia. Con el objeto de obtener el fallo, trajo de España una copia fiel del testamento de Cortés y como resultado de esto México es hoy en día depositario de tan valioso documento.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very kind staff, all in compliance with the new normal rules (masks, shields and sanitizer everywhere), beautiful gardens, huge pool and lovely animals all over the place, you will feel safe in this place while having a nice holiday, the room was simple, clean and comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have no idea about the hotel but we came to restaurant for few hour just to try some good mexican food and have some fun.The place is magical and beautiful! Its perfect for whole family or for romantic day with your beloved. Amazing view. Perfect for hot day or ugly winter day. Its not easy to get there so ask some local for tips. We came about 4pm and it was too crowded and some problems with fresh food. There were no more fish and not many variety of dishes( some salads left and pasta) I asked waitress and they told me that they close the buffet at 5 so there will not be any more food. think of it when you want to go about this time. Food are not bad. Staff working there are super polite, super helpful and very very nice!!Parking very good ! safe and nice

If you don’t get the big rooms. You won’t get a TV
The pool is big and nice. You can eat around the pool or have a drink.
The green area are awesome and very nice to walk around.
It’s about 5 minutes away from the lake.
Prices are Ok in the restaurant and bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a beautiful place with a rich historical past. The grounds are well maintained and the restaurant was very good. We had buffet. They cooked steaks as I watched, the salads are so fresh that you would think they came out of someone's garden this morning. There are several pasta dishes as well. Mexican coffee was quite a treat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very attentive service. Delicious breakfast buffet. Gorgeous grounds and lovely historic architecture. The rooms are a bit spartan but the staff will quickly supply you with whatever may be missing. The complimentary bug repellent left in the room was a nice touch.
