Hotel Imperial Laguna by Celuisma - 77500 Cancún

If you don’t wanna comfortable stay, you don’t wanna luxury, you don’t wanna tasty breakfast, you don’t wanna be in walking street with pubs and night clubs, you don’t wanna pay for first line and beautiful sea view from your room and you wanna try local bus trip(trust me, if you wanna extremely driving, you needed to try this ?) then this place is absolutely for you! It’s cheaper then another hotels ?, but think twice before reduce the price of your vacation. Don’t neglect comfort for save a couple of dollars ?. The towels not white, they clean, but have a some brown stains, and i don’t wanna know how this stains appeared on them, but it’s looks disgusting.

We have never stayed here in the hotel but we have eaten at the restaurant and swim in their pool .Their food is normally good but it’s outside so the humidity often makes it a little worse than it would be at normal room temperature. The staff is rather small when we go, but they are usually nice. There’s a lot of seating & I’ve never seen it completely full. BUT on the other hand, the pool is extremely nice. There is a slide for kids & a shallow end for kids. It has a bar right on the edge of it so if you want a drink you just grab it & drink it in the pool. Very nice seating for the pool as well. Also my family would like to let you know they had good ice cream outside daily.

SMELL YOUR TOWELS BEFORE USING THEM!!!! Me and my husband spent the week at this hotel which was chosen by our travel agency. The hotel stay was great the first few days but the last three, we noticed whoever was cleaning our room didn't care. One day during our stay it rained really hard and it flooded the floor, we had to use the bathroom towels to dry off the floor. When we were done drying the floor, we left them in a ball on the corner so they could be removed and replaced with fresh towels. We ended up leaving the hotel room the next day for them to clean the room while we went to the beach, when we returned the same towels were folded on the sofa and they were soaking wet and smelt from using them the night before on the floor. I'm not sure if the maid thought we wouldn't notice but right away we noticed they were the same dirty towels. I went to the bathroom and was horrified to see the same bathroom towel that was on the floor hung back up to be reused. I thought they give you a fresh towel every day... I noticed also that when we finished the shower gel and shampoo, they failed to replace them in the bathroom but thankfully we ended up buying our own from the nearby shop. towards the last three days they didn't even bother to throw out the trash so we had to leave it in the middle of the hotel room for them to notice. Every night there was loud banging and booming noises, sounded like someone was doing construction in the hotel in the middle off the night. Me and the husband were woken up by a loud boom around 2am, sounded like a gunshot in the room next to us. Not sure if it's the AC making all that noise after reading all the reviews on google, I was afraid to stay in this hotel after reading that they steal from your luggage so we bought luggage locks as a precaution. No microwave in the room as advertised Room 703 floods when it rains hard BEWARE

I do not recommend this place at all. We had some flight cancellation issues and a stranded family member, so it was a last minute booking online. Then, when we arrived, we arrived late so we also stayed there for a night - it was not pleasant. It is run down, has a mildew smell, not clean, stained sheets, and had what appeared to be bedbugs. We definitely will not be going back.

The hotel little dated but it is cheap and has great restaurant on the lagoon front with pepe the crocodile who pops his head up for dinner and it has lovely pool

Worst hotel I ever been in Lizards on the bed and disgusting restrooms I get robbed by the receptionist I couldn’t sleep not even an hour the noise in this rooms is huge ! Please run away from this place is not safe especially if you travel with a kid

Toilets without toilet seats, room Safe that is not secured, water backing up in face basin, micro wave that does not work, TV that does not work, door lock broken, foul odour ... NASTY NASTY....I switched room five time in seven days.They would not refund my payment that I had made in full, they refused to allow me to speak to the Manager or to tell me who are the owners of the hotel......IT WAS NASTY. I CHECKED OUT FOUR DAYS BEFORE I WAS TO LEAVE

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days. When we checked in, the tables and windows in our room were not cleaned. When we asked at the counter they said it will be cleanded, but it didn't happen. Also the water dispenser were often empty. (On all 4 floors at the same time). When i asked for water i was told they will only get some in 5 hours. Before booking i asked if we can get all 3 meals (including breakfast) delivered to the room. The answer was yes. But when we arrived we learned, that it was not possible (because the restaurent is only open from 2pm). So in all it wasn't a nice stay. The place is cheap, but also old and dirty. The rooms are not very comfy, just basic. At the reception there is one very friendly and helpful guy, also quite good with speaking english. But there was also another guy, being not very helpful and also hard to talk to in english.
