Hotel Jardin Angangueo - 61410 Mineral de Angangueo

Un lugar muy acogedor, los anfitriones son personas muy atentas, el hotel está de acuerdo al costo, agua caliente, internet, este suelen fallar cuando se tienen varios huéspedes pero la verdad el lugar invita a descansar, tiene áreas de oportunidad pero definitivamente recomendable.

Si bien el exterior del hotel no lo demuestra, el interior es una preciosa casa colonial, donde las habitaciones circundan un patio central, dice de reciben pinturas realizadas por el dueño del hotel. La casa, de hecho, es la casa donde creció. Las puestas de las habitaciones son de madera con vitrales de vidrio plomado y cortinajes para respetar la privacidad de los huéspedes. Por el tipo de casona las habitaciones no cuentan con ventanas, por lo que se tiene un ligero olor a humedad, más no es molesto. Las camas están en muy buen estado, cuenta con agua caliente y televisor. No tiene recepción como tal, siendo la entrada una tienda de recuerdos al frente de la casona. No cuenta tampoco con restaurante, pero estando en plena plaza central, ése no es problema. Excelente ubicación para recorrer el pueblo a pie, y a sólo 20 minutos del santuario de la Mariposa Monarca (Sierra Chincua) Los precios son módicos y justos en relación a la calidad y el servicio. La atención personal amable y atenta del dueño son el toque final para las 5 estrellas. Finalmente el pueblo de Angangueo, enclavado en un bosque de alta montaña, es bellísimo. Visita altamente recomendada para los amantes de la naturaleza.

This is a good place quite an clean,there are no luxuries but the room is warm, I recommend book before because when we arrived the hotel was almost full, fortunately Sr. Martin was friendly with us, thanks.

Location in center of Anganguao is great for going to plaza across the street and walking around town. Miners monument overlooking town is 3 minutes walk. Market is building behind hotel. Taxi's sit at plaza. Room is cleaned daily and bottles of water are left. No heat is typical on the area but many heavy blankets provided. Owner operated and his workers are fantastic.

I write this review based on Mexico standards, NOT American standard ratings. Great location, beds were average, which means hard, but had sheets and blankets and stuff. Shower was good water pressure, hot and clean, though the pump went out right at full body rinse off time, so I had to use bottled water until they restarted the pump about 20 minutes later, then I finished the rinse off. This won't happen to everyone, I tend to attract these things...lol. Literally next to this place is a fantastic church which is great to see when open. A 1 mile hike to the top of the hill gets you to another fantastic church and a view that is hard to beat. Literally out the front door and across the street are great tacos and a great Pappas fritas stand. Plenty of clean bathrooms here and a awesome shared space room upstairs for everyone to use as well as a shared kitchen. Secure parking, good help andmost likely the best option in town though I haven't been to the others. I recommend it, but you are in the wrong part of Mexico of you are looking for luxury. This is a shared family style hotel with a great location, great food options, great space options if it is raining and I would come back. Hoping to get a full 1 part shower next time though ?!

The service was good and honest. The hotel itself is basic, however the owner seem to be very honest, respectful and helpful (hard to come by around here).

Couldn't be better, hosts are absolutely lovely and can help you with anything you need! Cosy spacious rooms with lots of Blankets so it's nice and warm at night. Also there is hot water and a beautiful area outside the room full of stunning paintings. Come for a few nights the town is super nice and warrants more than a daytrip. Thankyou
