Very affordable and stylish hotel in the heart of the trendy and hip Roma/Condesa neighborhoods. Walking distance to food, coffee, shopping, nice plazas and parks.

Excellent value, a charming ambiance, in a lively, cosmopolitan neighborhood. If you don't mind having to travel to tourist sites, this is a perfect place to have a comfortable, friendly, authentic Mexico City experience.

Nice old place with a grate location but it's got place issues or charm like no central air and not exhaust fans in the bathroom just a window.

Hotel La Casona is a remodeled-very well resqued house that belong to past times in the Condesa colony from Mexico City. Once the semi abandon property is now a trendy hotel with a lot of touches from the past and linked to music and violins. Each room has their own touch and decoration creating an atmosphere with a lot of details everywhere. The service is personalized, the staff is always very supportive and friendly, calling you for your name. Recommended for weekend trips as well as for business option due to their competitive fare and good location.

Sweet little hotel in some ways but we cut our week's stay short as soon as we could find a vacancy elsewhere. Two reasons: the quiet room we'd requested was tiny, dark, and uncomfortable (details below - beware room 10!) and the front desk staff were unconcerned with our comfort and the hotel's reputation. A few of the problems we encountered: about 4 in. clearance between the bed and the walls on either side, a top sheet consisting of two overlapping narrow sheets that of course promptly became tangled, no bathroom counter but a tiny glass shelf that drooped about 5°, repeatedly shedding its contents, and a party Saturday night at 1 a.m. in the patio our sole small window opened onto, waking us up; the front desk said "we'll ask" then "nothing we can do," but when one of us went out (in bathrobe) to speak to the partiers they moved indoors without protest.

Wonderful quaint hotel in a former palace. The rooms are spacious and clean. We slept wonderfully on fine beds. Bathroom is clean and well-equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It'such nicer than any chain hotel, all hallways have little corners with instruments or art by Mexican artists or about Mexican history. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with nice restaurants and shops. Paseo de la Reform, main biz street is about half a mile away from the hotel

Staff is friendly and it's a good price for a good quality. Dry cleaning service was cheap and fast! The decoration is very creative as it feels like multiple old Mexican houses blended together. The room was ok looking but made up big time with all the small details and amenities. Very clean. The best aspect of it is that is a quick walk to La condesa and Chapultepec.
