About Hotel La Casona Temazcal

Perteneció al Distrito de Taxco. De acuerdo con lo que publicó Del Paso y Troncoso, el Alcalde Mayor de Temascaltepec, Gaspar de Covarrubias, informó el nombre de Temascaltepec ( el cual pertenecía antes a lo que ahora conocemos como Valle de Bravo) y su significado.

Así, el nombre anterior fue Cocalostoc, "Cueva de cuervos". Fue conquistado por Andrés de Tapia. Se inició su poblamiento después de 1556, al descubrirse mineral de plata. Para 1569, se contaba con parroquia, 55 vecinos, más de 250 indígenas y más de 200 negros.

Por decreto número 18, la legislatura estatal, dispuso que a la cabecera de Sultepec se trasladara al mineral de Temascaltepec, con fechas del 6 de agosto de 1824 y, posteriormente, el 23 de mayo de 1835. Por decreto del 4 junio de 1858, expedido en Tejupilco por le Gobierno Provincial del Estado, se elevó a este pueblo a la categoría de Villa.

EL 4 de noviembre de 1861 se le dio el nombre de Temascaltepec de González en honor al caudillo de la Reforma, Plutarco González.

De septiembre de 1874 a octubre de 1831, dejo de ser cabecera de distrito por haberse trasladado a Tejupilco, habiendo vuelto a recobrar su categoría, la que ha conservado a pesar de las graves crisis económicas del aislamiento que sufrió una larga temporada

En la segunda habitacion habia arañas y la señora afirmaba que es porque estabamos en el campo. La cosa es que esta sucio. No te prenden el boiler independientemente del costo de la habitacion. Pesimo servicio. Actual huesped. Pesimo in the first room had cockroaches. And the lady said they were from the countryside. La limpieza deja mucho que desear, las toallas olían muy mal y nos dimos cuenta que sólo las ponen a secar y las regresan a las habitaciones. PESE A QUE ÉRAMOS LOS ÚNICOS HUÉSPEDES ESE FIN DE SEMANA Y ESTUVIMOS UNA SOLA NOCHE VIMOS CON NUESTROS PROPIOS OJOS LO QUE HACÍAN CON LAS TOALLAS Y, DE HECHO, SE LO COMENTAMOS A LA ENCARGADA DE LA LIMPIEZA QUIEN RESPONDIÓ QUE ERAN INSTRUCCIONES DE LA SEÑORA!! La alberca estaba sucia, NO ES PRETEXTO DECIR QUE ES AGUA DE MANANTIAL para justificar su falta de higiene. Desayuno raquítico y el café muy diluido; aunque todos sabemos lo que es un desayuno continental, en ningún hotel decente, menos que se ostenta de 5 estrellas, te cuentan el café que tomas, ni te dan los alimentos contados, mucho menos si pagaste por 6 personas y sólo éramos 5. Si buscan un Tour, no lo contraten en la casona, constatamos que la señora con todo el dolo del mundo sube los precios más del doble de su costo normal para ella quedarse con esa ganancia. Si se atreven a hacerle un comentario a la señora, SÓLO CONTESTA CON AGRESIONES PARA JUSTIFICAR SU PÉSIMA ACTITUD DE SERVICIO Y LO MAL ENCARADA QUE ES. NOSOTROS GASTAMOS LO QUE QUISIMOS EN ESE HOTEL, a usted señora encargada del hotel le aclara que usted no es nadie para forzarnos a comprarle su orden de huevos con una tira de nopal a precio de hotel de lujo. Te dicen que es cama king size pero en realidad son dos camas individuales juntas y son muy incómodas. La habitación olía a humedad y el estado general es regular ya que hay cosas rotas y viejas. Pedimos servicio de cena con orden de te y pan para tres personas y sólo nos dejaron te para 2 y ningún pan ni nada. Además el lugar no tiene estacionamiento por lo que el carro hay que dejarlo afuera en la calle donde se pueda. Sólo estuvimos hospedados una noche y en relación calidad/precio, el hotel está muy caro. Lo único salvable es la amabilidad de los jóvenes que te atienden durante el desayuno y comida. They tell you it's a king size bed but in reality they are two single beds together and they are very uncomfortable. The room smelled damp and the general condition is regular since there are broken and old things. We ordered dinner service with tea and bread order for three people and they only left us tea for 2 and no bread or anything. In addition the place does not have parking so the car must be left outside on the street where you can. We were only staying one night and in relation to quality / price, the hotel is very expensive. The only thing that can be saved is the kindness of the young people who serve you during breakfast and lunch.
N	Nadia Saldierna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel muy acogedor y limpio, solo detalles con arañas en las habitaciones, como sugerencia podrían fumigar con algún producto natural que no afecte la naturaleza del lugar pero que mantenga alejados los bichitos de las habitaciones, nos sentimos obligados a consumir el desayuno por la mañana debido a la insistencia del personal. Nos agrado la estancia y nos gustaría regresar pero si se puede mejorar mucho más la amabilidad de las dueñas y el servicio de alimentos. Gracias.
