★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 11 nights during May of 2021. We had a very warm greeting to start. The room we were in was second from the highest floor with a nice view and covered patio area. The room was very clean and the overall staff were exceptional. The only suggestion I would have is to swap out the current shower head as it sprayed everywhere, but the water pressure was good. The location is great and quiet at night with ample parking for golf carts for no cost. The beach was clean and quiet and deep enough to swim in. The pool was constantly being cleaned while there too. I hope to come back for a visit sooner than later. Thanks for the memories and stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at an Air BnB very close to Hotel La Joya. Went to the restaurant they have one night and went back the next because of how good the food was, how great the service was and how amazing the entire experience was. Miguel was one of the nicest people we met on the island and deserves a raise. 10/10 will be going back here in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beyond wonderful customer service! We were staying at the house across from the hotel and they still were so wonderful to us. We ordered breakfast and drinks from them and they even helped us with our COVID tests when our doctor did not show up. Miguel was SO wonderful to us and even the manager was great. Drinks and food were amazing. The views and property were so beautiful. We cannot wait to come back and stay at this gorgeous hotel! We cannot say enough great things about this place! Thank you!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although we chose this hotel based on our previous stay two years ago, we were slightly disappointed this time around. No water pressure in shower. Ants in the bathroom. No on/off switches on the lamps. It seems as though waitstaff is overwhelmed and there isn’t enough staff to service all the guests. Hotel is at capacity with one waiter who works very hard. Another one who doesn’t seem to give a care that we waited over one hour just to order food only to tell us that the kitchen closes at 830pm. (Mind you we had been sitting at the table since quarter of seven.) We always try to give benefit of the doubt but the strikes just kept coming. This morning we never received our continental breakfast even though it was requested the day before, for 830am. We ended up finding a cute little breakfast place right down the road with great coffee!! The views are great, the water is beautiful but this will be our last time staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in room 6 and it was fantastic. World class views, and west facing so you are perfectly situated to watch the sunset. Most of all, the staff is very warm and welcoming and they go out of their way to make sure the guests have a great time. We can’t wait to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love this place, the beach was however small, but there were so many other positive things about this that I would go back there again. Miguel the bartender is an amazing person. Hector also a person who would help you with anything and spoke excellent English. The drinks were very good they were not watered down. The beds were comfortable. The only bad thing was television was with rabbit ears. However, that being said who the hell is there to watch TV? The pool was amazing just to hang on the edge of it and look out over the most beautiful view you could ever imagine. Food also was excellent. We will be making our reservations for next year now because we're afraid is going to be sold out. I would like to thank all of those of the staff for such a great time
