En la actualidad está en servicio la alberca, aunque no está en las mejores condiciones. Sin embargo, el terremoto del 85 acabó con las instalaciones, las fuentes de trabajo y el proyecto de la zona. Hoy día sólo queda la alberca en uso, misma que los lugareños se encargan de mantener y hacerla utilizable. Desafortunadamente, nunca hubo alguien interesado en hacerlo renacer. Vale la pena visitarlo, tan sólo por su dramática historia. Par quienes tuvimos la fortuna de ser huéspedes en sus años de funcionamiento, queda la nostalgia del que fuera un hotel con todos los servicios y que destacaba por la buena atención del personal.
