Great hotel, the room had a nice view of the beach. Nice private beach, has rocky cliffs on the side so the only access is through the hotel. Loved that the staff have a protected area for turtle hatching, if lucky you can see them hatch and released. Pools are nice and clean. Service was great ! ordered food and other amenities like extra toilet paper or towels and employees where very accommodating. The hotel is on a hillside so its about 100 yrd walk to the pool but have shuttle service from the lobby. The beach can be accessed through a walkway or elevator.

The hotel is nice and the staff are most friendly. Many people asked about cellular and internet service. The local Cellular service is Movistar. The signal is LTE with 2 bars everywhere. The WI-FI coverage at the Hotel is free and covers the entire property down to the beach area. Staying in touch from this Resort is easy. The food is good at the buffet. The Italian restaurant is the best one here. The beach has soft sand but swimming in the ocean can be difficult due the surf on some days. Overall this is good Resort choice for visitors to Ixtapa.

Will never forget the time I stayed here at the close of a difficult business trip to Lázaro Cárdenas. True luxury in the Mexican style. It’s one of my all-time top five best hotels.

Would NOT recommend it for the elderly or handicapped. I usually don't take the time to give bad reviews, I just take it as a loss or don't return but I feel completely ripped off. We paid over USD 1,100 per night thinking we were getting a 5-star hotel that was handicapped accessibility throughout and that was not the case. We upgraded to a double suite with a private pool to make things easier for my parents. Although the hotel is beautiful the service and even basic expectations (I asked for a complimentary toothbrush and they had none) we not those of a 5-star hotel. Before I booked I let them know that my father was handicapped and I needed to make sure it was handicap-accessible throughout. I was assured it was and that we would be a priority if we needed anything. We could not find seating at the restaurant during our first-night dinner. When I asked them for help, they looked around unsure what to do or how to accommodate us. I finally found a table that had a cell phone on it. I didn’t want to move it but the owner came a few seconds later so I asked the waitress if we could have that table since they had not sat down or grabbed their food yet. She did ask and he said no and although he’s in his right to decline I was upset that we were not accommodated and put as a priority as they stated before booking. Throughout the rest of our stay, we felt it was a struggle to navigate with a handicapped family member. The private pools in our double suite had no handle for my father and mother to hold on to and step safely in and out. We had to get him on the floor onto a cushion, roll him over, and scoot him little by little into the pool. My mother refused to get in because she didn’t feel she would be able to get out. The staff was friendly but their hands are tied as it is the hotel’s responsibility to make the place handicap accessible. I would not stay at this hotel even if I went without my parents. It’s overpriced and the service, amenities, and accommodations are not of a 5-star hotel.

They definitely don’t water down the drinks. Staff is super helpful and polite. I was content with the food although a lot of meat was on the salty side. Best to stay at 18th floor (lobby) and take the truck to the ocean where it’s a few steps away on a private sand beach! We mostly walked everywhere which we didn’t mind since we had all inclusive. Tip the beach servers they will treat you like royalty. Check in was the easiest process ever. Careful with the waves.

Great views from the balcony. Yes, there are stairs, and it takes a bit of walking to get around, but not unmanageable if you are mobile. Hotel staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. Beach is the best in the area and pools are great. The area is quiet compared to other local beaches. Plenty of shade. We will consider returning.

All the hotel rooms have ocean view, the beach only has access through the hotel, so is free from vendors and loud annoying music. The food is good enough at restaurants, chocolate deserts are the best and the beach-food-services is great. The only downside that I have is that you have to walk a lot from going to one place to another, but hey, if you don't have nothing else to do a great walk is a nice way to have fun too.

Awesome beach, beautiful view. Very clean rooms and prompt friendly service. However the hotel is huge and on the side of a large hill/ bluff. Lots of stairs and walking to get anywhere. The food was excellent. Close to the airport. Family friendly but there is an adults only pool which is very nice . Only cons are: Tipping is kind of expected even though it's said you are not required. We were hoping it was a bit more all inclusive. Also no option for a stocked fridge. You're required to wear a wrist strap (you know like the ones you get at a concert or beer garden) which drove me bonkers. Receipts are given for all your meals and drinks even if you have paid for the all inclusive package. Pro-tip make sure you keep them.
