My wife and I recently stayed 3 weeks at this hotel. It was a lovely place to stay. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful, and the hotel is a quiet oasis in the middle of the city. It is far enough away from the Zócalo to not have the crush of people, but it's only about a 15 minute walk to the Zócalo. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the fan worked well. We didn't notice it was a fan for the first few days, but after we brought it out, we slept great. If you want company, it's easy to meet people while eating the continental breakfast in the morning. We met people from various regions of Spain and Mexico, and were able to have some lively conversations in Spanish. If you prefer keeping to yourself, there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy your own company, or you can take your breakfast back to your room. The staff at this hotel are perhaps the friendliest we have encountered in our travels. There are also a number of good restaurants nearby. This is a great place to stay with good value for your money.

Our stay here was amazing! Service: the staff here were very friendly, and helpful when deciding which tour to take. They assisted us with getting a taxi early in the morning allowing us to make it in time to our flight with less stress on our end. Location: From here we were able to reach multiple restaurants without having to take a taxi. Everything was within walking distance!

Environmentally conscious, using solar to heat the water and grey water for the plants, rooms comfortable not fancy, the location is a less than 10 minute walk to the zocalo, an arched and tiled common area where the guests socialize and maybe share a mezcal

Beautiful interior and exterior. Peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Well designed garden. Nice continental breakfast. You can check out anytime You want , but it is hard to leave.

this place has an amazing staff, rooms, and environment. the garden makes the stay very relaxing and the free breakfast in the morning is the perfect way to start the morning. it's proximity to the zocalo, mercados, and churches is a good distance. a plus is that it's also close to the ADO bus terminal which is within walking distance. the manager took her hospitality to the next level by helping me with directions, accommodations with bags, and cleaning service.

An incredible oasis in the middle of Oaxaca with an eco focus. The premises are spacious and absolutely beautiful, the rooms and beds comfy. Simple breakfast is included but you can also use the kitchen to cook if you prefer.
