While we enjoyed this resort in the past we are very disappointed. Management has changed and now they no longer reservations and have canceled reservations that we have had for 8 months with no notice and no refund. They will not return our emails nor will they answer the telephone. Look at other travel review posts and you will see that it is no longer the nice boutique hotel that it use to be.

For a budget beach hotel it can’t be beat! The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The views are amazing and every room is just steps to the beach. the food is affordable, and though the included breakfast is nothing special, if you get their regular breakfast options, you will NOT BE disappointed! I had one of the most amazing omelettes with a special creamy pepper sauce that I wish I could take home with me! People might think a downside to the property is the rocky beach, but it has the most lovely eco system in the rocks. It’s about 15 minutes and $300 mxn to 5th avenue and it’s definitely off the Beaty path. But that’s absolutely what I loved about it.

I can't agree with the previous opinions, I spend 4 nights end March at this hotel. When booking through Booking.com, there was information that the rooms are cleaned once every four days (in our case they cleaned three times!), Breakfast: toast, eggs and fruit + unlimited coffee. The advantage of the hotel is that it is small and intimate, the service was nice. For the dinner dishes (aditional payed), I ordered coconat shrimps - they were delicious and fresh. There is a 7eleven shop in the area, several small bars and a hairdresser. You can easily order uber.eats on the premises of the hotel. There are beautiful, wide beaches within about 30 minutes' walk. The hotel one is narrow.

I was charged $200 on my credit card for food I never ordered. Spoke a women who seemed to be from another country other than Mexico and I knew she was in on it. Ultimately had to contact my bank to get the charge removed. The beach in front of this hotel is very rocky, no sand; food is garbage. You can definitely find better!

Nothing but a nightmare. Our first room had windows that didn’t close, had no screens, and a bathroom sink with one functional knob. We brought it to the attention of the front desk clerk (Ricardo - the ONLY redeeming quality of this dump) and he quickly gave us a new room. At first glance it seemed okay, but we quickly realized the air conditioner smelled like mildew, the shower never fully turned off, and the toilet seat was literally not attached to the toilet itself. We went back down to let Ricardo know we’d be looking for reservations elsewhere, he totally understood and even offered recommendations. When we couldn’t find anything else, he offered us the last room he had - the master suite. It was far from perfect but better than nothing, so we agreed we’d make the best of it and give it a try. The first thing we noticed was an overwhelming chemical smell coming from the bathroom, but we opened the patio doors and aired it out, only to later figure out that the chemical smell was intended to cover up the even more overwhelming smell of sewage that constantly emanated from the toilet. The high ceilings were covered in burlap to keep the roof thatching from falling to the floor/on the bed, etc., but it couldn’t keep the bugs from joining us, or the rain pouring down the walls during a storm on day 2 of our stay. The best part, however, was when the to the entire hotel water was turned off around 4pm for “two hours” without warning. It is now almost 11pm and there is still no water, so we’ve been using rain water from the jacuzzi to flush the toilet, and bottled water to wash our hands. Everything else seems like small details at this point, but is all still relevant and worth mentioning. The jacuzzis fill with brown, rusty water, the restaurant takes forever to serve bland, subpar food, the beach is tiny, rocky, and dirty, and there are no basic amenities, like even a phone to call the front desk. Do yourself a favor and stay literally ANYWHERE else.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. While the property has definitely seen better days, you can overlook it for the amazing beach views and friendly staff. Ricardo at the reception was exceptionally helpful and Irma at the restaurant was amazing too. The rooms are a little worn out and can definitely use some refurbishing to get a five star rating. Pros: Amazing is clean view from the room, Friendly staff Away from the hustle and bustle of the commercial PDC, quaint small beach bars around Cons: Tucked In ( wouldn’t definitely need a vehicle to commute) , taxis could cost 300 pesos to 5th avenue, worn down rooms, limited menu Read less

Really under staffed. Rooms are dirty. Waiters are completely rude. When we first arrived we were assigned to a room that had dirty sheets and no towels. We paid for the room with jacuzzi just for the jacuzzi to be extremely dirty. It was filled up with dirty water seemed like it hadn’t been clean in days. Service at restaurant is terrible. Food isdisgusting and overpriced and to top it off waiters are completely rude. Honestly don’t waste your time or money here.

Under staff all around. Don't clean rooms. Have to beg for toilet paper and shower towels. Restaurant has good food but take forever to get it. Have 1 server and 1 cook that mix everything up. By the 3rd day we end up ordering from elsewhere and server wanted to kick us out the poolside. Hope management and ownership make changes soon... Good luck...
