Hotel Lopez Campeche - 24000 Ciudad de México

The hotel Lopez is cute and the staff is helpful. But there are some issues to highlight : the bedrooms are tiny, the breakfast is tasteless and, I don't know if there was a mistake or so but the sheets were obviously not clean and had bedbugs. My husband got bite all over his legs. We sanitizied our bags, hoping not to transport those anywhere else.

Super nice hotel very clean friendly staff

The hotel has outdated furniture and is probably out of the 80s/90s. A good thing is that the location is very central in Campeche and close to the old town. The service was friendly and English speaking. Due to corona we had to eat the breakfast in our room. It was eggs with toast and coffee. We did not like It at all. The room was big but the bed and furniture kind of old. The pool was under construction when we were there 09/2021. we can not recommend the washing service since some of the clothes were destroyed due to wrong washing.

Spent three days here in March 2022. A great hotel. Quiet, good location, and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

Nicely renovated but don't come back drunk to the original section of hotel.. the rails and rather low and the way the way yhe drainage is can be tricky to navigate even when sober. Watch your step. All that aside, it has a nice pool, the newer section has bigger rooms the staff are really nice. The parking lot can be a squeeze getting into from the street. We recommend this hotel.. good price and a very unique elevator. We stayed on the 4th floor. Wednesday nights might be a local groups rehearsal night... very loud. 03/2022

Overall the hotel is just your average hotel and isn't bad. The air-conditioning works, the WiFi is fast, the room is clean, the beds are comfortable and nothing was old or musty. There is onsite parking through a carriage entrance next to the reception. The car park is small so if you are bringing a large car or long SUV it may be a struggle. It would be overly optimistic to think a Tahoe or Land Rover could park there. The breakfast however isn't great and the rooms are a little small with a lack of any views. One would also expect when booking the best room option that the room would come with a balcony or at least a view of the city as is pictured on booking.com This was disappointing and as a Level 3 Genius I would have expected better considering the hotel was not full at all . The view was literally into another person's room... Our toilet flush mechanism was also on the way out meaning I had to remove the top of the toilet mechanism and fiddle with it to get it to work properly again.

Centrally located. Most hotels in this area are old properties, therefor the lobby, some facilities and rooms reflect the age. Some rooms have been remodeled and others need attention. Our room was small (I think all rooms are very small) with 2 beds, they were comfortable, the bathroom had moist and mosquitoes, so we asked reception to fumigate it while we stepped out. it can be noisy as the windows face the corredor were everybody walks and talked. The hotel has adjacent free parking which was very convenient as I was traveling with my motorcycle. No restaurant on sight, not needed dough, 1 steer away are the streets that are closed with many options of restaurants. Did not post pictures as the ones already shout basically reflect the hotel as it is.

I only stayed one night but could have stayed more. I liked it that much. The attention from the staff was excellent. My room was spotless. The water pressure and temperature of the shower were perfect. The pool is beautiful and the location is perfect--right in the heart of the historic center. I'll be back in Campeche next winter and I will be staying at Hotel López. I really had a such a nice stay.
