Hotel Los Ángeles Locos - 49989 Tenacatita

The beach and pool area were really nice but that’s about it. There was only WiFi in the lobby, no phone service at all,. The room was clean but there was NO hot water, they didn’t provide soap, shampoo, hand towels, wash cloths. The AC was not nearly as cold as it needed to be to sleep comfortably plus the AC unit was dripping down from the ceiling so that in the morning the floor was covered in water. The food in the main restaurant(buffet)was terrible. The only food we hat I thought was decent were the hamburgers at the snack bar and the food at the italian restaurant. It’s also worth mention that we were only allowed to eat at the Italian restaurant once without paying so when they say all inclusive there are exceptions. Our toilet also back Ed the last day so it was full of black water. The lock on our balcony door did not work so people outside could get in if the tried. There was no elevator even though the hotel has 4floors. Like I said, the beach was wonderful and the pool too but the rest of the hotel was no well maintained or accommodating. It was also completely isolated so you could leave the resort at all. I wouldn’t go back

Worst experience of our life! It was such a scary feeling when we went to open our room door and found that it was locked from the inside and then immediately heard foot steps inside our room. I ran downstairs to the front desk (they don't have elevators) to tell them that there was someone in our room and that our door was locked from the inside. Her response was that she would send someone from maintenance to open our room, not even acknowledging the fact that I had told her that there was someone in our room. I ran back upstairs since I was very nervous and concerned for my husband who had stayed by our room to see if he could catch the person in our room. It turned out that it was a Security guard who was in our room and at the moment he heard us trying to come in, he ran out our balcony and into the empty room next door. The guest on the other side were in their balcony when all this happened and came out of their room to let us know that they saw the security guard leave our room and go into the room next door. The clothes in one of our unlocked bags were all over the floor and he had tried opening our other luggage, which thankfully was locked. It was a long night waiting to make a report and waiting for the head of their hotel to come up and talk to us. Just a horrible, horrible experience. They offered no compensation for our bad experiences and only reassured us that they would take care of the individual that was in our room. I would NOT recommend this place.

Hotel has everything and you don't need to walk far to get it. It lacks 24h bar service. Has several bars, but understaffed, so lines are long. Restaurants get very crowded and you will need to wait for a table on peak hours. You can only make reservations for dinner once per stay. Pool is nice. Beach is nice and without souvenirs sellers. Has a protected area for sea turtle nests.

Food is ok. Beach is clean and nice. However, The hotel needs to be remodeled, everything is so old and breaking. The “swamp” ride was awful, the truck was about to break down or something it was scary. Staff was rude. Needs more cleaning staff too. There is no elevator! I stayed on the 4th floor. I say new management needed ASAP. We met this one guy and his family that has been going there every year for the last 15 years and he said that this was his last time there due to all of the above and more. One last thing, it was raining on our last night, the water came in to our room it was so annoying. Not worth it.

The hotel is a dump, the doors to the rooms are really hard and noisy when closing. The toilet seat cover was falling a part. All the drawes for the dresser dont close correctly. There is no lighting on the 3rd floor. My bedroom had bed bugs, I would Wake up with bites all over my legs. I would honestly not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great and humble place to relax and leave your cell phone and work behind

Horrible stay. Bugs all over room. Mold everywhere, not just a little bit - but a lot! No free wifi, not even any phone service! Tv barely works, has the same channel on 20/30 channels they have. Food was nasty. Bugs in shower. No room service, phone didnt even call down to the front desk. There were dead bugs as soon as we walked in like room service just stepped on them and didnt pick them up. I will never in a million years go to this DUMP again! Save your $ & take your family somewhere worth going!!

The rooms were ok, the bathroom was small and the door was falling apart so whenever some body opened it the door would be touching the floor and making a loud noise. The beach however was nice but for the 3 days we stayed here we couldn't go in the beach because it was a red flag, nice for walks in the morning though. And if your staying here you should know that if you go to the activity center you can ride horses and even go on a crocodile boat ride which we only saw 2 baby ones, the boat ride was about an hour because you arrive and a public beach for 30 mins and go back to the hotel but you have to pay for the boat ride which is dumb because its in all inclusive resort. The shows were great! What i really like is some of the shows is just based on the audience and you can go on stage to do challenges, after the show you can go next to the lobby to play a game like musical chairs but you have to take a shot for 10 seconds if you fail after that at 11 30 they make hot dogs or hamburgers. The food here though was not it, i mean the breakfast is good but the dinner is so nasty they have Italian or Chinese food for dinner probably more. Also no signal here but if you want wifi you can go to the lobby and ask for the password and the wifi is only in the lobby
