J	Jan Ryan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Googling Hotel Consulado got me dropped off blocks away at an empty old building with a security guard at 3AM bleary eyed after delayed flights. Muchachas Ruth and Andrea, off from night bar and restaurant work, not maps on a new cellphone that is just as difficult writing notes, made it their mission to quiz people until we arrived at a glamorous Loveit lit sign in the dark, a significantly more Upscale experience than wandering lost. Rain shower, nice smelling products, woke up to a blessedly cool dawn under a warm duvet. Can testify that the floors do not creak. Glass balcony.

We stayed at the property over the Christmas holidays and our rental car got damaged by the valet service of the hotel (apparently the parking lot is poorly designed and the driver gutted a column). Even when the management inquired into my complaint and accepted responsibility, they ignored any request to compensate for the damages and just disappeared from the email thread after a while ( they were probably avoiding a bad review on the Booking site). You hear histories about how things are unethically run in countries like Mexico, well this is one of them, stay away from this Hotel. These people are not worthy your business. By the way the night we stay the AC was not setup properly and we have to call front desk to get it fixed.

J	Jared Brunson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On site secure valet parking was a nice amenity. The room was pretty nice, had a mini fridge and 2 free bottles of water per day! The air conditioner never worked at all so it got warm in there during the day so sleep wasn’t the best. If you read thru the other reviews there are several people complaining about the air conditioning so this isn’t a singular issue. The neighborhood was great, great food and drinks all in easy walking distance up and down Chapultepec! Overall Guadalajara was well worth the visit, and if they can solve their air conditioning issues I would highly recommend this hotel!

The Wi-Fi did not work either. There was loud music in the area most of the night (Sunday). I’ll probably stay somewhere else next time
F	Francisco Lopez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot. Clean and roomy rooms. I love the rooftop. I always go there when I need to apply for a visa, it is halfway between the CAS and the US consulate, thus I can walk to both places and not worry about lockers, parking, etc.

I would have given a 5 star review, but the waiter ,Jose in the restaurant is very rude, angry and dismissive. I dread the morning coffee where I had to see him. NOT a good way to start the day every day. Very, very unhappy person...consistently.
A	Anthony C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never felt more un-welcomed at a hotel. The manager with the grey hair speaks in a condescending and lazy manner. He is unhelpful, rude, and looks as if he wished I were not there. Awful experience every time I stay with you guys. This person would benefit from additional customer service training. I am surprised, because I believe he is the manager in the evening. The cleaning staff are helpful and courteous. The gentleman that helps with the luggage is so warm and welcoming. I believe the manager is a poor example of the other great employees that work at Hotel Love it.
