Hotel Mansión Tarahumara

Amazing. A castle situated at the edge of the Copper Canyon. Staff are extremely welcoming. The rooms are unique and comfortable. The food is authentic and delicious. Be sure to visit all the different buildings and tour the area around the hotel as well.

If you want amazing views of the Copper Canyon and just the friendliest experience ever, stay here. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome. Make sure you ask for a room with a canyon view. It's quite a hike to get up to your room but it is well worth it. All meals are included with the fare. If you want internet, it'll cost you 50 pesos per device.

The view from our hotel room was amazing!!! It was on the very top of the hotel. The sunrise was a great view every single day we stayed there. The food was included in our plan and we were really happy with the food and the service. I really recommend that if you are going to the copper canyon in Chihuahua to check into Hotel Mansion Tarahumara. The staff makes you feel so welcome, they are great people!

Good ? set like a village with separate cabins. At the top of the complex were apartments that looked out over the Canyon.

Picked up at station. Lovely room and setting. Very good evening meal. Made us feel at home to sit on verandah off bar. Lovely outlook. Relaxing. Good wifi.

I visited this hotel in 1999 and they had a horrible service, boiler never worked and they just raised their shoulders whenever we asked for towels or other basics. Very small and uncomfortable room. I have read the recent reviews and seems that they haven't improved but going worse. I don't recommend it. No worthy, they are rude and abusive.

We had a room with Canyon view and it was by far one of the best hotel rooms in the world I stayed at!! You step out of your room and all this massive and majestic Canyon is right there taking your breath away!! Watching sunrise over the canyon right outside of your room is something that not many experiences can compare to. We will definitely be back.

I visited this hotel on first week of April because it was near the Bacajipare Trail Challenge running event where I participated . I arrived by my self at night. Hotel employees kindly were pending of my arrival by phone and reserved my dinner also waited for me in the highway at night so I do not get lost on my way to the hotel. THIS IS BEYOND THE SERVICE OF A HOTEL. The food is great, portions are more than sufficient. Hotel employees are friendly and kind. This hotel is build in the top of a mountain, you will find is surrounded by big trees and stones respecting the environment of the place, yes there are some stairs and slopes to climb to the viewpoint and to the rooms with the best view but the view from these places are spectacular at sunrise, sunset and offers a night full of stars and it will be the same from every place of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet and safe. Restaurant and hotel ambiance are like an old fashioned great castle. The hotel offers an afternoon walk in the back of mountain that is a must do!!!!. and has no cost .Also you can take a walk from the hotel to the surroundings and have the opportunity to talk with the friendly Raramuri people, like five minutes to the left in a blue store I found great home made bread. I did not get any extra charge. Hopefully I can return back after the raining season!!!! Thank you!!
