Hotel Marbella

Great place

Very nice and clean

One of the best hotel/restaurant I've gone. The pool is cool, the service good, but the best is their food, they are the gods in "Playa larga".

*PLEASE READ**LEAN ESTO** NO Wifi. NO Elevators NO Room phones(so you have to walk downstairs and find someone before 10PM) POOL Closes at 10 pm ,1.5 feet deep and full of kids eating food. Lobby way full of cats(I liked that) but other people are extremely allergic to them. Get this, it’s advertised as beach front but upon arriving we were told no one is actually allowed to go in the water, wth. Our room was barebones. Broken fridge with dirty water leaking everywhere. Kitchen looked like it was originally designed to be a shower. You’re NOT allowed to bring your own food in until after 6pm so it’s either eat there, starve, or go 20 minutes down the road somewhere else. There’s no grocery stores nearby besides a tiny lil shop where they severely increase the prices of things like beer and chips. Guys, there was a burnt out lightbulb in the room so when I walked 4 stories down to the reception they told me it requires a specific kind of bulb & their electrician was out of town. Tons of mosquitos in the room too! Please don’t stay here guys. Save your money for a lil while and spoil yourself to some luxury. Hotel Marbella certainly isn’t that.

It's hard to complain about this place given the fact that it is pretty dang affordable and right on the beach. The service is good and the food isn't bad. The rooms seemed pretty clean. Note that while the front desk accepts credit card payments for the stay, their restaurant only accepts cash. And there is no atm anywhere nearby. Also, the restaurant closes at 7 pm. The beach is not at all crowded but not ideal for swimming. There is pretty big shorebreak, so unless you're comfortable with surf, I wouldn't suggest swimming.

This is my first time here and I love it. Hotel Marbella has the best food and the staff and managers are very nice and helpful. I read some bad reviews here and it does not seam right. The Hotel has free WIFI as well as hot water. The pool is a good size and approximately 4.5 feet deep, therefore safe yet deep enough to swim and enjoy. I recommend trying their Camarones Marbella and their stuffed fish.

We have been here for 8 days and have had the best time ever. Hotel Marbella managers and staff have been amazing. The food and the rooms are great. Try the stuffed fish with shrimp or the Camarones Marbella yum yum! Already thinking of our next stay at this great hotel.
