Great place to stay if you don’t mind noise from a fountain or cars, constant light from the corridor, lack of basic cleaning service or mosquitos. Positive aspects: - you can meet new people partying next to your room at midnight, - could be waken up by loud singing and meditating persons, - if the noise, light and mosquitoes don’t make you leave, you are ready for anything, - at least you are not sleeping on the street Negative aspects: - swimming pool rash - sheets not cleaned, - the owner’s attitude- promise service but has a great excuse not to deliver any because of virus. Maybe better to close the business then. It was a quite experience. Even the most remote places in the World that I have stayed in had better service.

We have just had such a wonderful time here at MedioMundo. The Room was clean and inviting and directly located at the beautiful and lush courtyard. The Pool and kitchen facilities were amazing too. Nelson & Nicole where great hosts and genuinely caring for your wellbeing and experience here in Mérida. When in Mérida We will surly always return to MedioMundo! Thank you ??

I absolutely loved my 7 day stay at Mediomundo. Why? Because it was quiet, cool stone rooms, big dressing room and place to hang your clothes and shelves to organize items. The bed was comfortable and it had air con which I barely used and fresh cool water from the water dispenser. The pool we as lovely and I went there every afternoon. Nelson was a genuine person who was very interesting to chat with and had a big heart. The rooms were very nice with super high ceilings and Mexican hacienda style. I liked this place because it was very private in a quiet neighborhood and surrounded by restaurants, tiendas, Y plazas with live music and a place you do not need a car. I will recommend everyone to stay here and I didn't want to leave. Muchos Gracias and hope to see you around town!

This is our favorite hotel in Merida. We have stayed here more than 5 times. The owners and staff treat us like family. Their restaurant serves some of the best vegan food we've ever had with a different menu every night. The rooms are spacious and clean. The perfect place to come home to in the evening.

This was my favorite place I have stayed in all of Mexico. The hosts are so kind and genuinely take the time to make sure that your stay in Merida is wonderful. The rooms are so bright and colorful and the entire building feels like an oasis from the heat. I loved the pool, the fountains, and all of the seating areas. I’ll stay here every time I visit Merida :)

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks, as the local coronavirus epidemic was just starting. I can't say enough good about the kindness, graciousness, and hard work of the owners and staff. It's a beautiful small hotel in a very walkable neighborhood, and they are taking the pandemic very seriously. The excellent small vegan restaurant in their courtyard has remained open for takeout and delivery with reduced hours, which has given me the chance to visit the hotel many times over the past few months, and to watch and discuss as they have prepared to reopen. They are committed to the health and well-being of both staff and guests, and I recommend them without hesitation.

Such a beautiful place in an amazing location! We were pretty close to el centro, and the owners of the hotel are super kind and accommodating. If I'm ever in Merida again, I'd definitely stay here. But heads up, there's a cat on the grounds!! So if you have allergies they might kick up lol.

The most perfect place to stay in Mérida. Affordable, beautiful, impeccably kept, historical colonial architecture, clean, quiet: an oasis in the city. The owner is the kindest and most helpful host we've met in all our travels. He speaks multiple languages well, and has a lifetime of experience in the hospitality industry. We have visited twice so far and are eager to return.
