★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not giving 5 stars because it's a 5 star hotel, but because for the price it's a great value. Staff is very nice and attentive. Maids made the room tidy every day. The bar and restaurant are really convenient to have. The restaurant food is very good. Great location that's close to every thing you'll be doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was okay. Most of the employees were great, but for some reason the two bartenders didn't like me and avoided me. They wouldn't take my order sitting down at a table, and I had to get up every time and order at the bar. For that reason, I barely hung out at the pool. Then when I checked out, there was a big bar tab attached to my room which I didn't make! The manager cleared it up right away. Next time, I would pick a hotel on the beach. Those balconies looked amazing since PV sits in a beautiful harbor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was filthy!! Water stains on the ceiling, dust and debris all over the bedspread, the headboard of the bed was coming apart and was taped together with packaging tape. Way too expensive for such poor quality. Relatively friendly staff and convenient location, but still would not recommend staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have been very much enjoying visiting Puerto Vallarta for the first time. We lucked out by selecting Hotel Mercurio. It presents in a humble manner, but maintains a great vibe. The staff are very friendly, and we love the pool area. We went to Burgers, Boys and Brews on Sunday, and it was fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for burgers boys and beer, and we were very impressed how it was. The show was good and the boys they brought in were good for sure.
I love that the owner came over and introduced himself to us and made sure we were enjoying our time there. The owner was also amazing at making sure the pool was clean and the pool deck was clean and maintained too.
Just seeing that level of service impressed me very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best service staff. We met Paul, the owner who was very gracious. I am in the hotel business. This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had. The included breakfast is super deluxe and has a full menu. You dine around the pool. The housekeeping staff will do your laundry, free of charge daily. Anyone staying at this boutique style hotel will have a great experience.
