G	George Duffy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice little family run motel. Friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and right across feom the waterfront. Lots of places to eat within 5 to 10 minute walk. Owners only speak Spanish so best if you can too.

M	Mari Tara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceeded our expectations! Hotel is pretty new and fresh. Rooms are very comfortable, contemporary and cozy. Room for 3 person - very spacious with terrace access. A big plus - small fridge and coffee machine in the room. Bottles of water provided, as well as organic soaps and shampoo. Cleaning though could be more thorough :)...

Owned by a local family and they offer their own tours with Ricky, the best tour guide. Definitely a must if you stop by Rio Lagartos.

The rooms are ultra clean, you definitely get way more than the price you pay for, so we arr definitely lucky to have found this gem. It is 2 steps away from the ocean, breakfast is included and delicious: homemade cheese omelette with yogourt, fruits, bread, coffee and juice! And if you have a tour, they make sure that its ready on time before the tour! Also will rate the tour they offered (woth ricky tour, 100% recommend and check out why in the other review)

The price is super cheap and the room clean and comfortable. Awesome, thanks again ? (maybe the wifi connection could be improved, but this is Rio lagartos, very small town so you get what you get)

The affable owner runs tours of the mangroves for much less than the guys on the malecon and he’s safe, knowledgeable and generous with his time.
A	Alban Copie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and well equipped room for a very reasonable price. On one side of the building you have the view on the lagoon which is pretty amazing. You can even see the sun rise. The staff was more than helpful, they booked us a taxi to go to chiquila for a great price. I also recommend the tour with Ricky that you can book at the hotel. You will get a full view of the natural reserve with a really chill and fun guy. The only thing that could be a bit better would be the breakfast but it was alright. 100% recommend !
